Who all is getting Gran Turismo 5? (Need people to race with)

Ok so I preordered Gran Turismo 5 and it should be coming in the mail the day of or the day after the in-store release.

I admit I probably will be racing single player for the first day or so but I want some Gamespot users to race with online as well (after all you guys are the best) :D.

I am deffinately going to get it. I've been waiting for this game since Modnation Racers got all buggy on me :P (last decent race game) I also have quite a bit of friends that will get it as we were planning on getting together on certain days and having big races, fun races. :) Just hit me up once GT5 comes... actually I'm pretty into bc2 also.

Ok so some of you have responded that you will definitely be playing GT5 and I as well will be delving into single player first. Are your screennames here the same as PSN? Mine is but I don't want to send out a bunch of pointless friend requests. Just let me know and I should add you soon :D

damn right they are expensive!! $300 for a logitec steering wheel and i am like jeeeeez who has that kind of cash to buy it... imagine how much a bluetooth steering wheel would cost with lithiom batteriers to charge it via the ps3 lol that would be in the high $500+

i dont think there is a bluetooth steering wheel with lithiom batteries i was just sayin that it would be very very expensive, but the steering wheels themselfs are heaps expensive, especialy the logitec ones cause they come with foot pedals and gear changer, and wow i have just basicaly pwnd myself.... i found a steering wheel which is $499... idk if its bluetooth or anything but here is the adress http://www.jbhifi.com.au/games/sony/play-station/ps3/ its right down the bottom the prices are lissted as australian dollers

Ill be getting it day one if Its not sold out everywere, I live in New Zealand. I dont care how m.uch it costs, im getting it, just not the special ed one

im definitely getting this the prologue had me hooked so i dont even know how much the actually game will have me hooked

Well I got this one. It is affordable and it works GREAT! I use it and it has made the experience so awesome. And my times have gone done drastically. You s hould really invest in one. The one I got is the official GT4 one and it works great on GTP and it will work on GT5

I got a Driving Force GT as a Refurb for $63, the retail is near $199. The GT SE version just so I get the small car and the 300 page book with tips and history and what not. Also using Steering wheel for other race games like F1 2010.

The Logitech Driving Force GT wheel is $132 on Amazon in the US. I've had one for a year and it's awesome. I've used it for several racing games (Need For Speed Shift, Grid, GT5 Prologue), and it works with the PS2 as well.
