I bought mine the first day it came out. Yes, I am one of those people who camped out at a retail store.

lol I bought mine from one of those people lol except they opened it a bit it was like less than 1 week old but I got retailed pricing and I didn't have to camp the only I didn't get from the box was the Talla whatever nights movie but I didn't want it anyways lol

That is a good deal - Most of the buyers who camped out end up selling theirs on ebay for a much higher price.
The price cut doesn't bother me because I understand rudimentary economics, but what DOES bother me is the lack of support from SONY. I was hoping for backwards compatibility, but I guess that's too much to ask.

I'm not seeing the connection between BC and support for the PS3.

yea I was so happy when I got it good thing it was one of my sisters friendsor wouldn't have gotten it so low we had to hide it in case someone mugged us we had to doa long process before I finally got it because we wanted store warranty so we went back and did this return and purchase thing and everyone in the store was looking at us I was like omg there going to rob us lol

Well Sony should of said something to notify us or hinting us that there is going to be a price cut and yes that would be stupid but that way we can trust Sony more

No I don't want to make fun of anybody I just wanted to see how many people Sony tricked and try to find out a way to get there money back
tricked ?? that's funny. MS does the same thing. Last year they reduced their prices with no warning, did they trick people too? I was forced to return my xbox a week later to get the upgraded harddrive for my pro.

Yup that is what companies do they trick people an example would be Wal-Mart you think they are good wait till you have seen their history

ive had my ps3 for about a month, i dont feel tricked, walmart had a nice deal on, 160GB pS3, but it came with Uncharted, LBP and KZ2 and a blu ray movie for free, all for the price of the 160GB,

funny thing is, i went into EB games to get a 80GB and KZ2 and LBP, EB had a ad that was for 80GB + free Motorstorm,i ask for it, he brings it over to me, and then he is like oh wait, this sale ended last night, you cant get free motorstorm pr, so i was like well F this im going to walmart, walked over to walmart and they had this mega bundle on sale, pure luck on my part, walmart only had 2 on this bundle come in, and i got one of em =)
