a friend told me that if you put a game in the ps3 the game stay saved in the ps3...you dont need the cd for playng

and you can lend the games to yours friends....

thanksss

is this tru or just a myth

You need the Disk to play the games, the only difference is that when you install games, there will be a reduced loading time.

Your friend is a not smart person, no you can not put a disk in and have it copied to the hard drive. Some PS3 games will copy data to the hard drive as an implementation to improve load times, but you can not play any disk based game without a disk, legally anyway.
