Who does not care about Madden?

With the release tomorrow of what will probably be one of the year's top-selling games, I wanted to to start a thread to show that there are people who do not pay $60 each August just for new rosters.

Sign if you're not spending your money on this horse **** so you can save it for a game that is innovative and different.

While Madden hasn't been all that great lately, Madden '09 looks to change that. Any research on your part would show that Madden '09 is far from just a roster update.

Clearly a lot of work went into the game this year, and as someone who has skipped on buying Madden for a few years now, I'm very excited for my collector's edition to arrive tomorrow.

I don't care about madden, it's the most overrated franchise ever, imho. It IS the same thing all the time with new rosters (and they don't even change that much). the devs usually throw in some extra features that only the die hard fans care about and leave the mechanics pretty much the same. This is almost the same for all sports games, but madden is the only one to get this unwarranted halo-like popularity. Hey, i like football as much as te next guy, but madden got old a very long time ago.

This year's will be different than in years past...

EA put alot more time into this years because it's the 20th anniversary of the game...

I wish they would put more time into Madden every year but their does seem to be a difference this year...

Hopefully they'll spend more time on NCAA Football next year because that series needs a major overhaul as well...

last madden i bought was 05 so i think its time for a new one. plus i need a game to play with more my sports friends.

btw do they even sell madden in england and abroad?

me, in fact could care less bout sport games, always get boring, and since i live in europe i deffenetly dont care bout madden, dont like american football :)

(P.S. all that is just my opinion so dont hate me if i dont like sport games)
