MGS4 is the only game I paid full retail for this gen.(well disc based game) If you're a fan of the series there is no good reason to wait. The game is totally worth the money now. Plus people are still playing mgo now. If you wait till r2 comes out prolly no one will be playing it. I don't really see any other titles that will be as good as mgs4 coming for a while. The next thing is prolly LBP or R2 but those aren't coming for at least a month.
Why wait for the most anticipated PS3 exlcusive to drop in price? Seriously, its the best game out right now and is the finale of the Solid Snake chapter of the MGS series. If there is any game out there that merits a high price tag, its MGS4 thanks to its amazing story and amazing replay value.

Being the most anticipated game means nothing to me. I don't care what other people are hyped for. I only care about the games that interest me and it being the best game out right now is nothing more than a opinion. The reason I am thinking of waiting is because I have other games out that interest me just as much or more than MGS4. Battlefield Bad Company, Soul Calibur 4, and Hot Shots Golf 5 are just as important to me. Does that answer your question?

Well here goes, I already bought MGS4, I couldn't wait. I don't think there are too many people out there who are waiting for it to become a greatest hit title. Mostly because it will be a very long wait.
Now if you want people to add insightful posts to your thread try not being a douche to everyone who does. Also making a thread worth posting more than a one word response in couldn't hurt either.

Not everyone who loves mgs4 bought it as soon as it came out. Like me.....I'm still trying to save up for it but considering all the other things I had to get, it's been holding me back. I should have enough this week to finally get it.

He didn't say you weren't "very interested". All he said was that you had greater interest in other titles....which you do judging by what you said in the op.
To the TC...STAFOO ALREADY AND STOP BEING A JERK. Plain and simple...it's clear that you're not interested enough to buy it for the full retail price, so buy another game already or else stop sitting around your computer dissing people off for the truth. The truth is, you are not interested in Metal Gear Solid 4 as much as other PS3 titles out there, so you are refusing to pay full retail price for it, even though you want it. Oh and that 'stop trying to read me' BS is just ghey He's giving you advice.
I know a simple solution if you really want to get this game cheaper you can fly to japan.(supposedly some stores are selling it discounted there) or use sites like craigslist to buy a used copy for around 40 bucks. But be honest with yourself. If you're pondering buying battlefield bc or hot shots instead of mgs4 then you're prolly not that big a fan of the game. It doesn't mean you're a bad person. You just have different priorities/taste.
