i paid about £300 for mine, i think that's about $600, but i was desperate to get the FF7 PSP.

plus, customs decided to hold it ransom for £50.

I assume you are Canadian, since its launch price was US$249 and Canadian $ 299. In any event, I bought mine at launch and don't regret it a bit.xaos

I took it a step further and paid that much to get it before it came out (shipped from Japan). Had buyers remorse though and sold it not too much later. I think I actually made a little bit of a profit.
