this will help with out question. 5 free movies and a $50 gift card for picking up a PS3 with the stuff you were probably going to buy anyway. It does kinda piss me off since I got my PS3 a few months ago.

It won't matter where you buy it. The free stuff is from the Blu-ray association, so you will probably just send away for vouchers you can use later

Means you gotta purchase a bdplayer AND a PS3, why would someone want to buy both since PS3 already has a bd-player in it??????? can somebody clear this up for me?

That really is a kick in the backside for us, besides the whole "first 150 ppl who buy a PS3 in virgin megastore get a free sony bravia tv! " us brits (or Europeans as a whole) havent been given any special deals, especially considering we pay a rediculous amount for the console alone. (up to $800 here in the UK )

I'm pretty sure that they don't want to piss people off by tricking them and making them revolt again blu-ray.

You really need to use ur brain and think about it before u start ranting. They want to get people to support them, not to piss people off by tricking them and thus killing their product. They must and they will give u 5 free movies with a PS3 purchase.

that "including" means and only means PS3 is not excluded from the BD players category

You have to select one in each of the five category. Here's the choice :

Category 1 : The guardian, pearl harbor, chicken little, invincible (the one with mark wallbherg)

Category 2 : Corpse bride, phantom of the opera, blazing saddles

Category 3 : Stir of echoes, stealth, resident evil 2, underworld evolution

Category 4 : Black rain, babel, devil's reject, the italian job

Category 5 : The last waltz, kiss of the dragon, the transporter 2, species, hart's war, the omen

In my oppinion, nice promos but not enough good movies and the category thing is bad, i would pick them five the last two....
