Well... Sorta. I've got a sizeable stack of PS2 games... But I'm hesitant to say that I don't beat them. Let's just say I'm taking my time. But yeah, I can't stop buying them...

I have the other extreme of the habit. I find I'm rather thrifty when it comes to games and I often play my existing ones until I'm sick of em.

Currently played bone dry: Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Oblivion (I've put so much time into it that the thought of booting up into another game causes a wave of nausea to flow through me)

Hoping to tire of soon: Warhawk

Long list of games that I do enjoy and would like to purchase but I've gotta get sick of Warhawk first :P

I do. I did this really bad with my PS2. I still have so many games I have to finish. Yet, I still keep buying them. Hell, I still havn't beaten Resistance because I bought HS! LOL It's bad.

I have this habit but I have gradually forced myself to beat games before I buy a new one. Recently I have finished BioShock, Heavenly Sword, and Lair all within the past month. Its been rough playing through entire games before picking up anything new but I must say its been nice finishing games. This gen of games being the more expensive gen make me want to beat games a little more than previous generations.

I´m the opposite...I like to finish my games before I buy new ones...but also I have games like Oblivion, Football Manager, Colin McRae which you can´t finish off, they simply last forever....I play them over and over again!

I do have that problem... I mean, I always tried to finish the game that I am playing first before committing myself into another game but if there are multiple releases that interests me,I will get them all regardlessly. :P

Yea I've beaten all my games except one Oblivion. It just takes too damn long to beat and it kind of gets boring with all the oblivion gates.

Yes I have this habit, well atleast I did with ps2 games especially within the past two years of getting ps2 games cheap and used. I still haven't finished okami, Beyond Good & Evil, both xmen legends games, marvel ultimate alliance, and a bunch more like buying the hitman collection. My bro does the same thing, the last game he beat was mgs3 and that was only after my urging him to do it so he can be ready for mgs4. He has yet to beat any of his wii games and all the gamecube games I got him for his birthday (TP, MP1 &2) and he just got a ps3 that he will play more than his wii.

Right, knew the value or never had enough to support the habit....

You have to remeber a dollar today is worth more now that a dollar tomorrow...The value of the dollar doesnt increase with time. I like to use all of my spendable income on video games and other electronics that support my bad habits.

Back when I was younger I had that problem but now since I pay for them and I go to a very exspensive school I can not afford to get every game. So I do research hard research and then I rent the game and I say to myself do you think next year I will look at this game and say wow I had a good time let me play it again. Hence why I have in my collection: All MGS, All DMC, ALL Onimusha, and All DBZ except sagas (guilty pleasure I guess) and as far as PS3 I got just warhawk and Vegas. Now talk back at me at 2008 and I am sure to be broke that year. Dont just pass me buy when you see me on the corner with my feed me sign... lol

I do. I'll buy all the good games as they come out and usually before i can get through a few of them the next wave comes out. So i end up with a huge pile of games that i've played but never been able to get the time to finish. Some day i intend on finishing all of them.

I do the exact same thing, I'll buy three or four games(PS3 and PC) at a time and fail to complete one before I start on another, but I seem to finish them all.

I have over 120 PS3, PS2, and PSP games, i've only finished about 50 -60% of those. I don't have a whole lot of time to play games, but i'm friends with the owner of my local gamestore, so i get lots of great deals.

Well i could nearly say that ive played each of my PS3 games for over 50 hours each. I switch on and off. Im pretty much done with Resistance but still play it every now and then. Im in the middle of Oblivion, and nearly done with RB6 Vegas. I still have 3 PS2 games i need to complete. Every now and then I buy more games than I should. But im planning on finishing up these games.

These next two months are going to be killer for me, I think I'll probably develop this habit because I have so much reserved. I've got Ratchet, Folklore, Oblivion in October, and HL2 ep.2 for the PC and then in November I have Assassins Creed, Unreal, Call of Duty 4, and then into early next year, Killzone2, MGS4, Dark Sector, Final Fantasy 13 and Versus, FF Crisis Core, Little Big Planet, HOME (if... lol) DMC4 is iffy for me still don't know what I think about that. So not only will I be broke, but I wont have any time for anything but games... not really complaining though.

Well not anymore no. Back in School days I would at least get a new PS game every second day..

However when the weekend arrives and have a chance to go out and buy a new game I take a very hard and long look at 60$ tag in front of me.

Once a month I'd get one, but it's not anymore as it use to be. Work, family take top priority :)

I do it all the time. I've been making a much stronger effort to go back and beat every game I have. Trying to beat one before I bought another. Recentely I beat all 3 GTAs, the MGS series, the first 2 Halos, and the SP portion of Motorstorm. It's tough when you get caught up with great MP games like Warhawk and H3, and don't dedicate enough time to the Heavenly Swords and Bioshocks of the world.

At the end of the day, if you u can afford the habit thenu are more fortunate than others, so consider urself bless bcuzu are! Nuff said.

am a video game binger. There are times where I just have to buy a game and withing a month i would buy about 10 or some games across all platforms. But there are times when I go months (usually when there is nothing good out)without buyinga game. It usuallydepends on the time of year and whats out, but my lastbinge was the middle of August to the middle of Spet where I bought 9 games( most of them PS3) and I still have 3 more games I will buy in the next week or so. lol What can I say, I'm a gamer? lol

I understand what you mean completely. I've bought Lair/HS and only have played a few minutes of each. I'm still playing mostly warhawk though. It sucks too cause I own three systems and I still buy games for them (some are still unopened) as well even though I haven't finished the other games. MUST STOP ADDICTION!!!
