I rate Lair a 7. The game is about 6 hours long. But there's replay value. There are 14 missions total (not including the training level).

The reviewers have valid complaints, but I think they went overboard with the controls. They scored Lair too harshly, too.darkagent0019yeah thats what i mean. i think that if they gave it a chance it could have been a solid 7 with the other issues they had. but hey first impressions stick with you i guess

The controls definitely aren't smooth, but the GS reviewer made it sound like it had a mind of its own. "Go right. No, the other right!" Seeing that quote made me laugh... at the reviewer. Everyone who has played it knows that tilting right will make it go right. I think the reviewer was jerking about violently instead of using normal smooth motions.

epilepsy FTLLol n1!! :D
I know its been said a few times but the controls are not perfect. Its not that if you tilt right the dragon doesn't go right lol but its that if you try to do the 180 degree turn by jerking the controlling upwards quickly it only works half the time. You can't go too fast either or you can't steer good because you can't turn on a dime.
That said the graphics are stunning, voice acting and story are top notch.
I give the game 7.5/10 because its a good game that somehow didn't turn out to be as fun as expected (but still fun), because simply the developers got too ambecious with creating 1080p resolution when 720p would have been fine.
I just wish they has of left in the analog stick option.
Its shocking how they got 4.5/10 from gamespot but ign is saying pretty much the same thing.
Those who have the game tell me right now. Should I buy it. I am willing to learn those pesky controls. KaptainKernalif you are willing to learn the controls then i say definately. i like the controls and my personal opinion on the game is 8.5. also to do the 180 is pretty easy just bring the controller straight up(without jerking it back down which is a natural reaction but makes you go faster i believe) :)
