this demo was the first time I looked at a basketball video game and actually felt that the graphics looked as good as a real game, I'm looking forward to this game, I'll probably rent it and 2K8, NBA 08to see which one I like better, but this demo looks awesome and the final disc is always better than the demo so it's looking good.
true enough. We might be in luck, because it looks like sony is finally getting there act together with 3rd party game demos. Psn is getting better. Slowly but surely
While I'll admit Live has improved over last year's iteration, it still felt kind of stiff and choppy in comparison to 2k7...I don't think 2k8 is going to take a step back, so that's where I'm going. EA will get my money for Madden and FIFA, that'll just have to be enough.
I pretty sure im gonna get. I have NBA 2K7 and the gameplay was pretty good but I loved NBA live since its PS2 days. Its also a bonus that Gilbet Areans is the cover athlete

wow, people buying games because of the cover....thats almost as bad as people buying madden because the name madden attracts them.
After articles about how nba live is finally going to improve gameplay, i have to admit i was very interested. But after playing the demo i realized its the same garbage over again with minor changes. There is no doubt the graphics are fantastic, but the gameplay just sucks compared to nba 2k, ill stick with nba 2k8.
I played it , it's definately better, but it was still alot of lil' bugs they gotta get out of it. And at one point the game was laggin' durin' gameplay alot!! But it was smooth on replays. It must be the 60 FPS, because I remember it lagged alot with NCAA08 on the XBOX 360. So I take it EA doesn't know how to make their games prperly in 60FPS

i just wish both games could like combine it would be perfect. Gereat graphics(live), great ball physics(2k8) , great player physics(live), better gameplay(2k8), Fiba league, all star weekend, good graphic refferees(live), better ballhandling(live) wow it would be a great game

Graphic, and ball handling I think 2k series is better.
One thing (maybe only thing) I like about Live series is the commentary. 2K series really suck at that.
