I rented it and i'm trying to like it but it seems I don't for some reason. I can't create a nice looking character and cant even think of a name.. Rocksta-R

umm you have no one to blame but yourself if you cant think of a name or use the increadbly indepth character custimization to make a character and seriously even if your having troube with that its only a name so who cares and you can play the whole game in 1st person mode so you never even have to look at your character and not to mention those 2 things have absolutly nothing to do with the gameplay
to be honest I was dissapointed, the gun play was really sloppy and the VAX i didnt think was as good as everyone made it sound, its still a decent game, and its not all about the gameplay. But it takes awhile to get used to.
I was thinking of getting this game. Do any of you recommend it?thelastguy
I have had a blast with it. Yet to beat it though as I get sidetracked easily and there is a ton to sidetrack you in this game. Plus, I work more than I used to.
The way people are describing Fallout 3 sounds similar to my experience with Oblivion. I just couldn't get into the game! That's why I held back from buying Fallout 3...

Incredibly indepth customization indeed. But it doesn't mean youc an create a nice looking character. Boy, I tried the one with Oblivion, and no matter how much you try, you can't really create a good looking character nor a life like one. I also hated the complete open world BS that has no real sense of direction or accomplishment. So I regretted buying that game and now will pass this fallout 3 game.
It is a great game. That being said, it dissapointed me. I was expecting to be my GOTY and it fell way short. I just don't have fun playing it, I can't really explain. I liked Oblivion alot better.

Oblivion was kinda stale, but it was fun, fallout 3 has completely sucked me in, i can't stop playing it, i just got valkryia chronicles LBP, chronotrigger for DS, the list goes on, get fallout, it's amazing.
