It will look better on a nice HDTV.........for movies too.........Blu-ray (1080p)
HD will make all games stand out more.....for the PS3 (1080p).....detail and color....ect.

Actually very few of my PS3 games (none in fact) run in 1080p. Resistance and Folklore are both downscaled to 720p, along with 90% of the PS3 games out right now. Sort of disappointing really.

I know that dude!!! But those this guy know?! I guess not.......It can't hurt him....that much.......HD movies!!!
Games arn't "downscaled" to 720p, that is their native resolution, they are developed that way, but 1080p is better so they should start making more of them
And yes CoD4 is still worth it if you dont have an HDTV, it's not like you have a choice, you wont have a HDTV regardless, and it's the same game, just without the visuals, but none of your games will have the visuals, its still a good game
I have an SDTV and I have to say, my bro is playing on his 360 with HD and I can barely tell the difference. I am DEAD serious. Buy it. THE best game on the PS3 right now that is non-exclusive.

What he said he, looks amazing on sdtv regardless of the fact that hdtv are not NEEDED however they are an added luxury which ill pick up in the near future.
