Not getting it immediately anyhow, just havent seen enough *umph* to make me purchase it yet. Plus I'm purchasing/pre-ordering a lot of other games here soon with some of that tax money :P

Just because of the type of gamer I am, I can not justify paying $60 for an online only game. You can tell me all you want about how the online is expanded enough that it is like a campaign itself, but I am not hearing it. "Single player" and "campaign" are not the same thing.pjacobson21

im steering clear .....online shooters just lost their luster for me ...as a matter of fact if it wasnt for trophies i probably woudnt ever play games online at all

I agree 100% ... too many other fantastic games on the horizon.

I dont even really like Mag and wont be buying it but what is the point of this thread exactly? Good for you, you wont be buying a game that youre not into, kudos.

Same here. BFBC2 is a much better shooter imo. I'll also be getting GOW3 and I might get Yakuza 3, depending on reviews and gameplay videos.

First game I'll buy this year is going to be Movie Rain, so yes, I'll save my money for GOWIII and Yakuza 3.

i liked the beta and all but i dont think ill buy, maybe when it gets cheaper, im savinf for FF XIII (i hope they release an us LE) and GoW3, maybe for GoW collection too

Me. 60 bucks goes towards Mass Effect 2.

I'm not getting it because of the bad experience I had with the Beta which I actually was never able to play :S First of I downloaded the big file just to find out that the Beta starts in january and then, when it finally started, I get a error by starting the Beta. Such bugged Beta = no buy for me :S

I will not be getting MAG, but I'm not saving my money either. That 60 bucks is just going towards any other of the many games I want. My poor wallet.

I won't be buying MAG or Heavy Rain any time soon, but I will be getting Bioshock 2, AVP and God of War 3 within the next two months.

I am picking it up in a few hours and can;t wait!

i canceled my mag preorder and preordred battlefield2 instead. i was in the mag beta 2times and didnt walk away happy. i feel the mag release is gonna be buggy like socoms release. and be filled with technical server nightmares for 2 months after release. i think mag has the potential 2 be a great game. i personally think it needs at least 6-7 months of additional development. ill probably buy mag 3-4 months after release so mag can work out its kinks. tell then i wont bash or praise mag.

The only games worth buying are the ones with online multiplayer since you get the most replay value out of them. That said, I haven't played the MAG beta yet but want to. I definately do not care if it's only online for imo, that's the only part that counts in FPS.

I've yet to finish the campaign in MW2, play all online and have no interest in playing against predictable bots.

I have no idea if MAG is good or not, I'm just not interested in online shooters. I like single player games with a story and characters. I give them credit for not even including a single player campaign - it's a lot better than these other developers who toss in some token crap, promising "8 to 10 hours of gameplay", and then you buy it and it's 4-5 hours of rubbish that only a rabid fanboy could find anything good to say about.

it was in my list back in nov, but i chose mw2 eventually. BFBC2 is excluded, i hate fighting over with your teammates for aircraft in bf2.

If MAG has small community like kz2, then lol what's point to have 256p if it doesnt have so many users...like witting 30mins to get in a game.

Yeah, I bet it's going to take a long time to find enough people for 256p. Remember MAG has 3 factions...so it's going to take longer...lol what a poor game concept. 3 factions is pointless unless you can have them all in a single game.

I'm not getting it. There are plenty of other games like Heavy Rain, FFXIII and GoW 3 that I'm interested in. But I wouldn't get MAG anyway.
