The game does look amazing whether its in 640p or not, better then 98% of nex gen games. I like the PS3 but why do so many of you hate Halo 3? Is it becasue MS has a major seller,and is destroying the PS3 in sales while us PS3 fans sit back and wait?

It sucks for me as a ps3 owner in washington state the home of microsoft and halo 3, everyone was talking about halo 3 how it was the best game ever made, even though its just a average shooter and was the most hyped game ever.I have to deal with all this 360 fanboy **** here, all my friends all own 360 im the only one with a ps3 and one of the few in washington.IppotheFighter

I think Halo's a good game, it's just not something I'm hyped for. As for online, I'm more into Socom:D

Anyways, it's a good, Solid FPS. overrated as hell, but it's good.

I can't speak for anybody else, but for me the game was over-hyped big time. I liked the game, but I can honestly say I enjoyed the Call of Duty 4 beta over Halo 3. But thats just my opinion, I got the game the day it came out and played it for about 2 weeks max.

I don't know if its true, but when the game first came out, everyone on my friends list was playing it. Now I check my friends list, and its way fewer. I'm just waiting to see what will happen once Call of Duty 4 comes out. It seems like the most over-hyped, system selling game is dying down already.

it gets real annoying cause 360 fanboys are always rabbling about halo3. all u have to ssay is 640p. then laugh a bit. then u walk away in triumph. case closed. i mean it looks like just like halo2 . only diif i that halo 2 was 480p and halo 3 640p. and for those fanboys that say its the same because there is nothing to be changed. thats a lie. no game in the world is perfect. there is always gong to be a way to make a game better.pablito3

First off you're the fanboy as it is clearly pointed out in your post. Second, hypothetically speaking that same fanboy can just be like nba 08 and laugh his ass off or be like look at the sales charts and laugh his ass off. I understand this is a PS3 board, but wow. If H3 was announced for PS3 all of you would be spamming the boards and drooling all over it. I don't see why people have to hate on other console's flagship games. HALO, MGS, and Zelda are all excellent games.
