i gotta tell ya i downloaded the update for streaming yeswterday, it is fantastic. all your music and videos in your xmb, along with youtube, online tv, and this is in your xmb... it streams great and doesnt slow down the computer much at all, streaqmed a 2 hour movie in about 30 seconds. i like how it doenst take up any space plus its jsut really easy to do. if you dont use winamp try it out, its freee

www.winamp.com

jsut make sure to install the ps3 streamer in installation, its a lot easier to set up than it is for wii or 360 because the ps3 has it built in>: )

I use Windows Media Player.
All you do is tick a box and select the folders you want it to look in for all media types (video, music, picture).
It's also a system service so there are no fussy icons about, no applications to run, it's simply working once windows loads.

lol?
I've used winamp for ages (music), easy to use, low on the resources and I like it's layout.
I'd use foobar but it's too hard to get other peoples layouts to work, what with all the plugins and stuff, nor do I have the time or willpower to make my own.

Foobar is low resources, winamp most defiantly isnt. Foobar is okay but it has basic usability and sound quality problems.
