Who in here had a defected PS3 and what was the reason?

I just wanted to know how many people in here alone had a defected PS3 and what the likely cause of it would be. As for me, my 40GB is still working good, but I'm a bit paranoid that it would broke even though my previous two consoles were fine.

My PS3 60GB got a HDD corruption. This does not only happen to 60GB by the way as all HDD have a chnace of malfunction or it could be a faulty HDD. I sended it in to Sony and they can't fix it so they just sending me a brand new PS3, it's 40GB though. However I will get $300 with it! Dion4ever
