Am i huge fan of gt and forza, and im excited for gt5 this year as ive heard several times that the AI has finally been updated and cars will drive aggressivly to try and over-take and stay in front instead of just following the driving line and satying the ecat same distance from each other.
Well i suppose it doesnt really matter as there will be online racing, but still it would be nice to have the AI improved greatly.
I also hope theres lots of depth to upgrading your cars, i cannot wait to upgrade a tvr sagaris that cars is beautiful, and handles like a beast, not very good, takes allot of practice to keep that car on the road.
I'm going to go against the grain, and say no matter how good this game looks there is little chance I'll pick it up. I hate driving simulations. I much prefer arcade racers such as Sega Rally, Ridge Racer, Burnout.

Yeah, me too. GT5 looks like an awesome game but simulations are not my thing. I prefer something more arcady.
i am SO not getting this game thats for sure. i mean the GT franchise has only been great to me and GT5 seems to be the most complete driving simulator ever created.
its the number 1 racing franchise evrer, Sonys biggest IP, Over 50 million copies sold worldwide, Gt games sell better than Halo, And between Now and the end ox next year we will see 3 new Gt games, Prologue , 5 , and Mobile (fro psp confirmed to still be in development since forever). Everyone is getting this gmae.and everyone should.

I feel the exact same way. If all these other games can do it then why cant GT especially if it is a simulation. Honestly ive never felt that it was a perfect simulation since the cars all sound the same even if you upgrade it to the max and you can even do donuts or drift around a corner at all and seems to usually have massive understeer most of the time. Ive played GT since it was on the PS but if GT5 doesnt do something different than the others then ill be skipping it.
same...GT5 is the game I'm looking forward to the most..I've always been a fan of the GT series and GT5 simply looks amazing...too bad it'll be another year until GT5 comes out...
