I am addicted to getting close to 100% I am only at 60% and confess I went online at times to figure out how to get s rank. I definitely cheated to do the quizzes for the ps4 Dr ja vu on normal and hard.

But it is truely epic figuring stuff out on your own. The game requires critical thinking unlike any other game and there are so many ways to complete a mission. Yes the game is short in length but not content. Can u imagine how deep the phantom pain will be.

Furthermore, what game encourages nonviolence for the best rank and you feel more like a bad ass undetected. There was a article I read on eurogamer where the game designer of mgs phantom pain was talking and how he hate games that tell you how to choose options to complete a mission. Meaning there are no clues such as camera paning etc in the beginning of a mission giving u hints where to go. He also talk about how he doesn't like assassins creed and other games stealth approach and I agree. The western world has dumb down stealth and I am glad for the challenge in mgs ground zero and think phantom pain with bosses will be great. I haven't played splinter cell in awhile but he blasted how bad the game is in the stealth component and it's all shootem up.

What I love about mgs series now is if u are caught u can shoot your way out of trouble and survive but you feel more like snake never getting detected. I agree with the interviewer from eurogamer that mgs series before I only looked forward to boss fights and next cutscene but not the stealth part except occasionally for me.

Can you drop down on someone and then knock them out unconscious in ground zero?

You may not respond but who gives a damn...I think this game is worth every penny. I sleep thinking about how can I infiltrate the base better. I have played 17 hrs of mission time with 3 S rankings and all the rest A rankings. I know with all the redos I have played well over 25 hrs once detected and did a redo mid mission for a perfect run. I read so many ways I could have done a mission differently or just plain better. Thats the beauty of ground zero and even gamespot writing this article this weekend taking about how ground zero has redefine enjoying failure and learning from it.

Its not many games reward saving people and no kills getting the best ranks. My favorite boss fights also include saving someone before the enemy kills the victim. I hope phantom pains has a lot of those types of boss fights.

@GrayF0X786: it's going to be good having a break before phantom pain if you played the hell out of ground zero...so things don't get stale.

@MethodManFTW: there is no stealth game that can compare to this. I am not saying other stealth games are bad just not this good and just imagine this is just a morsel of phantom pain.

Still? The game only launched like 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure plenty of people are still playing it. If my DS4 wasn't recharging its battery, I'd be playing it this very moment :P

Not a bad game to get distracted by. Will probably buy the HD collection at some point.

I'm just glad I rented this game, not really to my liking. It's worth it's total value but only if your trying to achieve 100% completion. I'm sure Phantom Pain will be much more of an enjoyable and longer experience for the MSG fanatics.

That's really just an opinion, but from what others have said and some of friends told me, there are much better stealth games. Like I said though, it's an opinion.

Personally, I'm still waiting for GameFly to ship me my rental. It looks really fun but I can wait.

@Kaze_no_Mirai: your right it's all about people's opinions. I would love to know a list of stealth in the breath of mgs series that is authentic stealth not just called stealth.

Ex) I was hiding in the weapons room and open the door as the soldier was at the door and not him down and they gave me time to tranquilze him was he was holding his head in a daze. Where are you going to see this in a most games?

After playing GZ, I decided to replay all the MGS games in timeline order. It's been really fun. I'm on act 3 of MGS4 now, and I'm going to play Revengeance for the first time afterwards. I have been going back to GZ intermittently, and I can really appreciate all the improvements. However, one thing I just can't get used to is having Jack Bauer as Snake. It's really off-putting. But the game play is tops.

I am really enjoying this game. I have been craving a new MGS so a while now so its nice to dive right back into it. Sure it was not the best method of promoting the game/price but the way I see it, I would rather spend 30 loonies on a video game than on junk food or fast food
