I am addicted to getting close to 100% I am only at 60% and confess I went online at times to figure out how to get s rank. I definitely cheated to do the quizzes for the ps4 Dr ja vu on normal and hard.
But it is truely epic figuring stuff out on your own. The game requires critical thinking unlike any other game and there are so many ways to complete a mission. Yes the game is short in length but not content. Can u imagine how deep the phantom pain will be.
Furthermore, what game encourages nonviolence for the best rank and you feel more like a bad ass undetected. There was a article I read on eurogamer where the game designer of mgs phantom pain was talking and how he hate games that tell you how to choose options to complete a mission. Meaning there are no clues such as camera paning etc in the beginning of a mission giving u hints where to go. He also talk about how he doesn't like assassins creed and other games stealth approach and I agree. The western world has dumb down stealth and I am glad for the challenge in mgs ground zero and think phantom pain with bosses will be great. I haven't played splinter cell in awhile but he blasted how bad the game is in the stealth component and it's all shootem up.
What I love about mgs series now is if u are caught u can shoot your way out of trouble and survive but you feel more like snake never getting detected. I agree with the interviewer from eurogamer that mgs series before I only looked forward to boss fights and next cutscene but not the stealth part except occasionally for me.
Can you drop down on someone and then knock them out unconscious in ground zero?
