I have the White Slim.... but want that newly announced "Deep Red" PSP, omfg it looks beautiful... I hope it hits the US, i'd give the White Slim to my cousin and get the "Deep Red" for myself (red = fav color)

So I'm dumb? I preferred to get a Piano Black Core system with a $40 4GB Memory Stick, which is why I did. Let's see... who got the best deal of them all? =P Oh and btw, DS Lite. =]
My ( beloved ) psp broke at school, so i've been psp-less for the last 5 months or so. I really , really really, want the new psp, but im undecided on either the silver one ( daxter bundle ) or the silk-screened vader one, both are really good deals. I think I will end up getting the Vader package, so when my friend gets his, I can own him at renegade squadron.
ive got the silver one. when i first took it out i thought it felt really cheap to me. but after having for over a month i think they did an excellant job. at least sony can do something right.
i had no interest in playing daxter, but the silver one is just damn beautiful. goes great with my 8gb ms pro duo.
UMD and mp4 videos look great with component cables... being able to play psp games on my tv is also pretty awesome, even if it doesnt fill the screen. i understand the reasoning as to why it doesnt.
I do the only gripe I have with it (besides the ease the screen has with getting finger prints on it), is the bumpers feel kind of cheap and flimsy.. Other then that it was a great purchase.. I currently own Castelvania X chronicles, Final Fantasy Tactics, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and Daxter.
i want one but u only get $50 at gamestop if you try to trade it in which is a rippoff so ima try to sell it to kids at skool and then get the new slim psp........then again i might not. I dont care too much since all i do on psp now is play my games
i have a ds lite but at this point im so bored with it id happily trade it in for a psp; im getting one either way, i just cant decide black or white (i dont care for the vader decal but white looks great to me)
I got the silver one and sold Daxter. I can't stand games that use the analog stick! Ever since I got my slim can't put it down where as I never touched my old one. I guess I owe that to Castlevania and Radiant mythology.
I got the white Vader one, the day it came out. I am a fan of all Battlefront games so I didn't mind Vader on the back. Anywayz you don't even see it when you are playing which is pretty much the only time that you'll see the PSP at all.
I didn't much like that I needed to purchase a new remote to use my mic or that I bought the wrong cable the first time. Yeah, Sony put out 2 Video out cables. One that half way does the job and one that actually lets you play games on the TV. Other than that, it's fantastic and both sides are enameled which makes it sexier.
First and Foremost, if a DS Kiddy Troll comes here and says "DS Lite" someone smack him...
I own only the Fatty, but i`m thinking on buying the Slim and pass my old PSP to my Sister, she likes Tekken, we could play Together ;)

Anyways, I'd been waiting out Sony on the PSP, the original hardware was junk IMO but the day the slim hit the market I picked up the Ice Silver and I love it. My only regret was Sony didn't have the redesign out in time for the Wii/PS3 launch cuz November in British Columbia is cold and while my DS Lite kept me entertained for the first few hours by the home stretch I couldn't play anymore, my fingers were frozen and it would have been nice to pop in a UMD.
I pickedthe silver daxter packup about a week ago with castlevania and gta:vcs. One thing I love about it is.. NO FINGERPRINTS! I wiped my old psp off so many times a day I dont dare to remember, plus its nice to have a new color then black. Black is great but its nice to choose from different colors.

You know there are cheap $5 purchases that basically turn the analog stick into a real analog stick..
