Lair was......okay. It could've been a lot better though.

The missions went from exciting dragon vs dragon air battles that left you wanting more, to boring escort missions that were stupidly difficult (as in it was basically you vs. 50 enemy dragons who all attack and destroy whatever you were protecting in the matter of a few seconds) The controls could be annoying and the story was bleh. Graphics were good and it had a nice concept, just not pulled off very well.

I'll say, avoid it.

I loved the game and I'm still playing it now, along with Heavenly Sword. I'm not gonna tell you what to do and what not to do with your money. I'm one of the few PS3 owners that bought the gamelucked out with understanding the controls that most other PS3 owners complain about.

Bottom line, there's only one of two things you can do when you try Lair: love it or hate it. Fortunately for me, I loved it and understood the sixaxis controls.

Controls - very unpolished, especially compared to how most games control perfectly these days

Gameplay - incredibly monotonous; you do the same thing over and over again

Story - horrible; something about tree huggers and how improving our lives is horrible because it makes a squirrel sad or something like that

Graphics - technical masterpiece
