Who Sell More MGS4 Or GTA4??

GTA IV, it won't even be a competition. GTA is probably the most popular franchise right now, probably moreso than Halo.

There won't be any comparison, especially since GTAIV is going to the 360 as well.

GTAIV may break sales records, even though after SA, I don't know how people can still think these games are so great. Same damn thing every game since GTA3. Vice City was an upgrade, SA did nothing special and added some really stupid features. I have low expectations for GTAIV and most likely will never buy it. These games sell so well, not just because they are(used to be) fun, but because it's the epitome of games when it comes to 13-15 year olds sneaking to buy or begging their parents to buy the game for them because it's "so cool."

Anyway, I'm just ranting. MGS4 WILL be a better game, but it has no chance to sell near as many copies. In a couple-three years when ps3 is dominating the market, and people realize just how amazing MGS4 was, MGS5 could break through, too bad there won't be one.

I am a bigger MGS fan , but GTA IV will double MGS4's sales (at least). That is just counting the ps3's GTA IV sales.

I can't wait for MGS4, but...

I'm sorry my friend, but I'm not able to agree with that one. :) GTA is more popular in USA market (only) for many reasons, but it's not the quality of the game, especially not when compared to Metal Gear Franchise :)

If you mean just PS3 then MGS4... all PS3 owners in Japan will buy this game while none of them will buy GTA4... if you mean total then GTA4 because a majority of 360 owners in the US will buy GTA4... and there are 13,000,000 360's in the USA...Squeets

The GTA series became garbage stemming back to Vice City.

GTA4 will sell many times more IMHO. The 3 GTA games last gen were the number 1, 2 and 3 games sold. I doubt any MGS game was even in the top 10 sold last gen.

u say it like its way more popular, when actually it isnt. and considering GTA:SA came out a few weeks before halo 2 that year, the sells are about equal. u cant just say GTA is definitely more popular without bringing up some facts. atleast that other guy gave those facts.
