yea I still got my 80 gig fatty, it's the second version with 2 usb ports and no PS2 compatibility. Never had any issues with it.
Haha "sounds like a vacuum" is the best way to put it. That's how my launch 60gb sounds after a few minutes. Still going strong though.Still have my 80 MGS4. It's still working but it sounds like a vacuum. LOL

Yes I still have a PS3 fat. It is still working fine. It is the last version before Sony axed this model. The 60Giger it is the best looking model. I have Slim and Superslim. The original with spiderman font is the best looking version.
i do! i got the 40gb version. i really need to upgrade its HDD because all my saves/intsalls are taking up too much space.
Yep, that's the one I have. $400 and didn't come bundled with any games, but I don't regret it. Have since upgraded the HDD to 250GB.yea I still got my 80 gig fatty, it's the second version with 2 usb ports and no PS2 compatibility. Never had any issues with it.

I am thinking of replacing my 80 fatty with a new super slim. Think its worth it? I dont know if I feel like taking the time to sell it on my own.AutoPilotOnI have one. Dont like that i can hear my disc spinning and loading. Dont like not having my four usb ports either. Other then that all is the same, besides the ugliness.
My 60gb got ylod'd last year so i got a slim and upgraded to a 750gb hdd , runs very smoothly unlike the previous one , it used to heat my entire bedroom , no joke.
Maybe I should stick with my fatty. I dont notice any loud sounds. I love having 4 front usb ports and all the different media slots (SD and whatnot) is nice. The new super slims just look nice.. I still have the standard 80gb drive which is always full. Probably better off to just upgrade that.AutoPilotOnYeah. Honestly my slim is just used for blu ray and netflix. Also just in case my 60 does die. Its easy to upgrade your hard drive.

I've had 2 but they both got the YLOD about a year after having them, now I have a slim with no problems.
I still have and use my 60gb PS3 that I bought in July of 2007. I added a 320gb HDD to it in 2008.
I just love the look of the fat PS3. Big, solid and heavy. Piano black finish. It feels and looks of quality. If it died I would pay to repair it, try to repair it myself, or I would seek one out in the marketplace. I have no want for the ugly slim or the putrid super slim (my opinion).
Yes, silly as it may seem to some, console aesthetics do matter to me.
