I honestly think it is every bit as good as the 360 version. I could care less about the DLC.

i traded my ps3 version in for the other version, solely for the DLC.
exactly the same game otherwise. no noticable differences.
yes fallout 3 is a great game.
I enjoyed the game a lot. The DLCs honestly don't interest at all, except for broken steel though, but not enough to justify getting a 360 just for it.
It's currently tied with MGS4 as my favorite game this generation. The only thing that really bugs me with it is the freezing problem it has. I was just replaying it for the 3rd time and decided to destroy Megaton. After doing several quests and obtaining a lot of the special weapons, the game would freeze every time I went into Tenpenny Tower. Very frustrating.
I played it for about 70 hours. I would play it for HOURS on end. Only got 71% of the trophies before I just couldn't play it any more. I felt I'd done it all.
i don't like fallout 3 no matter what system its on, and the PS3 and 360 versions are the best... hate to break it to ya, but something as simple as continuing the game after you finish the main quest is a big thing to miss out on...PoisoN_Facecam0Thats why you don't finish the main story first. Pretty simple solution to keep playing the game. I beat it, then reloaded my game after the credits and never completed the story. The final mission doesn't give you anything so theres no reason to do it besides ending the game. Besides the pointless trophy I suppose.. Thats no reason to miss out on on of the best games ever IMO.
Just bought this game last week, looks great, and it could really be close to perfect if it wasn't because I find it really difficult...I mean, theres almost no ammo and healing itemsand enemies are tough...I am on the village with the fire ants, and I am having a hard time killing them. I had to change the difficulty setting to easy, but I am not so sure it's possible to change alfway through the game. Is there something I'm missing? how can you make the best use of the ammo you get?
oh and something else...how do you pick the locks? I don't get it....

google.com is your bestest friend.I really didn't like Fallout 3, didn't find it much fun.
Prince-Noctis
same here traded it in for uncharted without paying the difference ( I used to work at walmart )
well i played it on the pc, and felt it was far superior (excluding dlc, i find dlc to be a scam.. in general).. but i think fallout 3 is a great game no matter on what system you play it on..
Well PC will always have better graphics than a console counterpart so you can't really knock the consoles versions for that.well i played it on the pc, and felt it was far superior (excluding dlc, i find dlc to be a scam.. in general).. but i think fallout 3 is a great game no matter on what system you play it on..

Duckman5
I owned ps3 and xbox360.. i experienced fallout 3 on those 2 consoles.. Yet I really don't like that game. it sucks
[QUOTE="Prince-Noctis"]Yep Turn Based Shooting is EPIC fail so ******* boring.Wish hip fire would actually WORKI really didn't like Fallout 3, didn't find it much fun.

What are you talking about? Hip fire does work. If you're guns are in really bad condition than they may spread a lot, but I used hip fire a lot more than VATS

Same here. I couldn't believe that gamespot dropped the rating because of some unnoticable texture issues.
You've obviously never seen both versions in person. the difference IS noticable. my friend who owns a 360 has Fallout 3, and we copmpared both my copy of the ps3 version, and his copy of the 360 version, and the difference was very clear. The 360 version looks much better, a lot less jaggies, less pop in, and less framerate glitches...Fallout 3 is only fun for about a half an hour after which the game feels more like work than fun. But I think bethesda gave the PS3 version a bad wrap. I think they took the lazy way out and didn't try program it to run smoothly on the PS3.I honestly think it is every bit as good as the 360 version. I could care less about the DLC.

Yes true, But Oblivion on the PS3 looks and runs alot more smoother than the 360 version with less pop- ins. but it's all good the PS3 version of all Fallout 3 is still playable though. Please Log In to post.
