I played a year of World of Warcraft; it's obvious I enjoyed my time with it. But you sound like your experience with the genre is just WoW. But anyway, the DC Universe is probably one of the more anticipated MMORPGs coming soon.
P.S. - I question like this on a console board should be left alone. Hell was raised when they heard FFXI was going to be a MMORPG. lol
Almost every MMORPG not City of Heroes just seems like grinding work to me, not play. Too much of a time sink to get to the fun. Still, I'd like to see the PS3 become THE MMO console. There's a definite opportunity for more action oriented online rpg's to come down the pipe what with the free PSN, standardized hardware, and keyboard/mouse/controller support.
If I could play WoW on my PS3 and connect with all the people playing on their PC so I could still find all my friends, I would buy PS3 WoW and maybe even uninstall my PC WoW. Why play a game on your PC when you can play it on your console? But then again, that might be complicated to play WoW on a console without a keyboard because of all the action bars or hotkeys, there aren't enough buttons on the controller and using a joystick for a mouse to click on action bars would be a pain.
absolutely not i played it on pc the months free trial, and stupidly i bought the game and a 60 day pass. I got bored during the games free month, so i've got a 60 day pass sitting on my shelf. The community is a disgrace, and although pretty addictive i found it pointless, and pretty boring just levelling up.

it wouldn't have any lag, as it would work the same way wow pc works. Blizzard keep the servers up to scratch, and the graphics are hardly taxing, so it would work, it's just that I didn't enjoy the game at all.
technically you can already play wow on a ps3. Install linux on ur ps3 then install vmware and install windows as a guest on ur linux machine and then install wow and play but you will experience very poor lag on the game.
