[QUOTE="james791"]i do. i just don't see myself holding any controller other than the sixaxis to play ace combat 6. any nay sayers keep it to yourself. please.mu5afirAce Combat is produced by Sony so, it is going to be exclusive to the Ps3. eh?
It's produced by Namco Bandai actually. It would be very stupid financially speaking for them to make it PS3 exclusive. They would only have a possible maximum of 3 million or so customers, of which only a small portion will buy the game. Sales of one million copies would be astronomical on the PS3 whereas they could easily achieve that with the larger pool of consumers ready to buy it for their 360s.Actually there will be more than 3 million by the time it comes out , probably close to 10 when it does , but really not that high class of a game franchise so porting is the smartest thing to do, that will happen alot when smaller franchise try to make profit with the rising dev costs

Actually, they are speculating ace combat is not gonna be exclusive. Anyways I don't care, we need to get rid of exclusivity cause it hurts more than helps I think.
Why play Ace Combat when you got Warhawk? Lol seriously though, Id say I want it exclusive. Who knows anyways Warhawk could end up being crap. I doubt it though.trav_have
i do. i just don't see myself holding any controller other than the sixaxis to play ace combat 6. any nay sayers keep it to yourself. please.james791That last sentence makes you sound like you just want people to agree with you which makes this topic really useless. I think wishing exclusivity on any game is pretty dumb, unless you...you know...work at Sony and it means money out of your pocket...
i do. i just don't see myself holding any controller other than the sixaxis to play ace combat 6. any nay sayers keep it to yourself. please.james791I have a question: if it comes out on the PS3....what the hell difference does it make? devs gotta make their money...and this gen it's harder than ever to do so. let them make it. as long as the PS3 gets the game, there's nothing to whine about.
no it doesn't make a difference. it's just a certain pride i have as a ps gamer since ps1. i just wanna let off some steam. however, i do have a certain hatred for microsoft and i don't want to see them getting games that's been in the ps family for such a long time. i went through 2 broken x-boxes. microsoft make shoddy products and for them to be in the console gaming industry is just an insult to me. but it's just my opinion. if no one agrees with me then move on. james791so which is the truth? this statement:

do have a certain hatred for microsoft and i don't want to see them getting games that's been in the ps family for such a long time. One is a menavolent take on the situation, taking a whimsical walk through memory lane...the other is a fanboyish anti-360 rant. You really can't be both. And again, the bottom line is that the PS3 isn't LOSING any games. And games like Ace Combat will probably be better on the PS3, with support for rumble AND motion-sensing. Relax some.
not fan boyish rant....i'm just letting off some steam. i did go through two broken xboxes plus i try to play splinter cell today and the lense is acting weird. plus the whole o.s thing that's giving me a headache. ms is really persuading me to get a mac. anyway, so how will sony bring back the rumble? is it possible to have rumble and motion sensing at the the same time? james791fair enough. and they'll bring back runble by simply putting it into all their new controllers. those of us who bought a PS3 early will have to buy new sticks if we want the feature. :(

well, it is still just a rumor. some snap shot from cell phone. so where is this snap shot?james791
We will have to wait. My guess is that Sony will have a time exclusivity if not the whole exclusivity. Because really lately Namco has been giving Sony product lots of support, well, not support but games. My point in regards to mentioning the number 3 million (admittedly a bit of a ridiculous number for Ace Combat) is that it would be impossible for Ace Combat to sell terribly well on the PS3 since there are only about 3 or 4 million PS3's in people's homes at the moment. Unless the attach rate of Ace Combat on PS3 is phenomenal, they're not going to sell a huge amount of copies. Whereas if they port it to the 360, they can achieve a much higher quantity of sales with the minimal effort of porting the game, which is quite easy to do with the 360's tools. 3 million was just a hypothetical number to illustrate the point that it would be nearly impossible to sell that many copies on the PS3. Anyways, I disagree that it was a "stupid post". The reality is that the PS3 just hasn't sold well enough for most developers to even recuperate their costs on some of these games. That's why so many games are going multi-platform, along with the fact that Microsoft is trying to make it as easy as possible to develop for the 360.
And to the retarded freak who said 3 million. Please do us a favor and crawl back to the whole you came from. Really. Stupid posts like yours are making the forums look like kindergardens.

Wait a minute....wasn't there something about naysayers that I missed?

i believe it wd remain with the ps3...........since CELLIUS is comprised of SONY and NAMCO.
However WARHAWK takes the shine away from any game of that genre.
