Not me, I'm perfectly fine with FIFA 08

My flatmate will be getting on the 1st day despite barely having any money to buy Assassin's Creed lol. PES is always top priority, we r hardcore fans n play it everyday.

One thing for those who havent played it, they used a new ball physics engine which makes the passing slower n shooting weaker (which makes the game more realistic). It takes a short bit to get used to it if u've been playing PES 6. But u'll get used to it n enjoy the game even more once ur used to it.

I played the demo on the 360 , it is a bit different but still great . getting it on ps3 coz im used to the pad . Had pro evo 6 on the 360 and couldnt get in to it coz of the pad

I will play it... just wondering if the PC version will be the same as the PS3. Because the PC demo version did not have any of that new "slow pass" and "week shot" someone was talking about previously ginraisama

I feel sorry for you...

can not wait probably one of my most anticipated game. PES just feels like your playing real futball, ands its really addictive least to me, i got addicted to it like i got addicted to WOW so i can't wait to get it for the ps3 and see what they jam packed the blu-ray with.

Just like MGS there is, in my opinion, a lot of depth to PES and great attention to detail. plus this year i think graphically it looks better then Fifa 08 personally, 08 does more stuff graphically but they characters all looks pretty hideous and freakish up close. also the tele view has some aliasing.

that said i think PES is still better then FIFA this year, but FIFA is trying to improve and its definitely a huge improvement over 07, so its a good year for futball games.

Going back to the keepers make silly mistakes.In FIFA,have you never sat, open-mouthed as a header comes in from an attacker and you sit in agony as your keeper just watches it roll slowly across the line before eventually diving in to the net. Its pretty ridiculous.

What i will say is that FIFA 08 is greatly improved this year but i will still be trading it in to buy Pro Evo 2008, same as every year.

I'll be getting it of course.

My twon cents on why PES is better than Fifa: scoring is too easy on Fifa. Ball control is unrealistically infallible. Passes seem to always connect, try that in a real match! In short PES just feels way more realistic. Has been like that for looong since the first ISS on the SNES.
