If it wouldn't make the controller cost more and not cut down on the battery life, then sure why not. I'd also like the PS3 to have a GPU from 2010 instead of the RSX but without making the console cost more obviously. :)

You must be new to the forums because this topic has been discussed since launch. It's really getting old now along w/ the millions of HD threads and "convince me to buy a ps3" threads

Maybe Sony is thinking about it, since Kojima demanded rumble for MGS! At least i hope so.

If it doesnt mean increasing the size of the controller...I really like the smaller PS3 controller...and battery life...I personally dont care about that as long as it doesnt cut it down to like 10hrs or something...

But sure Rumble would be okay...

amazing question! its only been asked 9999991 times already be it 3rd party or 1st, PS3 will get rumble someday, now stop going ape sh!t about it, its not like Phil Harrison or Kaz Hirai will come on here and, because of all these threads quickly add it

I think motion sensing was not implemented well and will not be used well in games. Maybe some shakes here and there but I don't think it brings any benefits. Look at this video of Virtual tennis and tell me if it doesn't look gimmicky. Link I think it was a last minute decision to add motion sensing.

Rumble was so much better but I doubt it will ever return.

This is so over posted.... But obviously both would be good but i prefer sixaxis over rumble.  Never really liked the rumbled didnt add anything and often randomly vibrates during sports game

Something about them including Immersion's patented rumble technology in the PS2's controller when not having the permission to do so... SplitFish has already said they have a way to make the Sixaxis rumble without violating any of Immersion's patents though, so hopefully we'll be seeing rumble soon (despite Sony's claims that they have no plan to include it). Check out the article I got the info from here: http://kotaku.com/gaming/sony/sony-on-nonimmersion-rumble-no-and-no-233054.php

Rumble is not that important to me. I just want good gameplay from games.

Most people would prefer both but its not gonna happen.  People may begin to appreciate the sixaxis once its used for games like lair and warhawk.

i think it would be a nice addition ut im not that bothered really, i think the tilt is much better idea, gives us more control, then again if hideo wants it then i think it should return, that man will give us a reason to want it back, but as i said its not that imperative

sixaxis would be cool if it had rumble, but rumble isn't so good as ppl make it seem, everyone says Dualshock was better than Sixaxis, i think thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard i way rather have motion sensor than rumble, but yeh i guess it would be nice if it had rumble. Keep in mind u can buy a ps2 controller and an adapter and use that for rumble, and u can even buy an attachment that makes it motion sensored, its pretty cool.
