I first play the game normally , then playtrough for the trophies , it gives me the feeling that i done everything i can in the game so i can move on another one.
I have 397...ThaFallenAngelGeez...But then again, most games I have which support trophies I dont have that much percent in them.
I have 157... Yes, my signature says 19, but thats obviously fake if you look closely. But I'm addicted to trophies :Pcheez-it_kidLOL I never answered your other question TC. As of now, I have 141 trophies :) 1 platinum, 3 gold, 21 silver, and 116 bronze :D
I wouldn't say addicted but the trophies have given me a reason to go back and play some of the games in my collection. Also some trophies add a little bit of depth to the gameplay such as in COD:WAW going thru a level using only a flame thrower. Then again some games such as Fallout 3 mainly consist of gimme trophies mainly awarded for completing quests or leveling up with a certain karma rating.
I currently have 362. I guess you could say I'm addicted to them since I will buy some PSN games only if they have trophies. I just think their fun to get and it gives me something to shoot forBPoole96Same here, except with actually disc Ps3 games and not PSN games :P I mean, I dont buy stupid games for trophies. I buy good games that have trophies :)
Being addicted to "trophies" is like being addicted to a "placebo".
There is no actual use for them other than the bling noise...yet...
honestly man I reckon this trophie crap is bull they shouldnt have copied the 360 with their "achievements" because gaming isn't about collecting trophies or earning achievements because last i checked gaming wasn;t about collecting it was about having fun but i reckon the 360 does it better this is coming from a ps3 fanboy:D
I like achievements better because its way more structured to the trophies. Its numerical, every rtail games have 1000 and download one have 200.
on the ps3 its too random. Some games have 20 silver trophy, some have 2, the end results its not that much a great representation of all your gaming history.
In the end i like them but I prefer to unlock achievements points then the trophy simply because I can view it anywhereon the net, its easy to compare and on the ps3 you can viww them only in the console itself.
But I'm curius to know what you can get in home with trophies.

i have zero plantinum  i just cant seem to go 100% with any game lol ...not sure about the total tho .. but i think 110
I have like 425 or so. I am not addicted to trophies as much as I am a completist. When I am given a certain task to do in a game, I try my hardest to accomplish all those task.
Trophies get me playing a game more than I would have ever done normally. I don't buy games for trophies. I buy games I like and still play games without trophies. If they have them I am going to get as many as I can before I move on to the next game.
I am 5000 kills away in Resistance for my platinum and getting close in LBP for a platinum. Getting my PS3 shipped tomorrow to get fixed so it has slowed my progress down. I only get about 100 kills a night in Resistance though so that will take me another 50 days to get the platinum
I wouldn't say addicted. But if there are trophies I'll take'em.
To be honest I don't pay attention to some trophies. Like Bioshock, I know there are trophies I won't get on my current and first playthrough but that doesn't really matter because I enjoy the game so much. They are welcome bonuses.
As fot Fallout 3, trophies are quite easy to get and I LOVE the game, so I didn't mind a second playthrough at all. I'm pretty close to 100% actually. It's gotta be one of the easiest platinum so far. ***Minor SPOILERS***(the 2 golds are harder without a guide though, especially the bobbleheads)I don't know.
I'm more likely to buy games that have trophies, because I feel they add something more to games that are medocre. I don't think I'm addicted... but perhaps I am.
same here, i love to enjoy the game first, and if i get trophys along the way without actually hunting fot them then thats cool, on my 2nd run illl do as much as i can to get the trophies, like u said to feel like u accomplished everythin in the game so u can move onI first play the game normally , then playtrough for the trophies , it gives me the feeling that i done everything i can in the game so i can move on another one.
WhiteEagle91
I only try to get them when I'm really bored... and right now I'm bored with COD5
I need "The Sum of All Zeroes" & "Gunslinger" to be finished.
I killed Amsel with the handgun... but I didn't get the trophy. Am I suppose to kill him with ONE shot to the head!? Please tell me (whoever has it).
