Yeah I agree with you about the stroyline. It started off really really well. Then it changed some, but it was still a game that had an amazing storyline

Congratulations on realizing that Vampire Rain is garbage. Now about Heavy Rain, all I've seen is a 2 year old (yet impressive) techdemo and a gameplay demonstration with a scene that isn't actually part of the game. So I'm gonna wait with my decision until I see the actual game, what it's about and how it'll play. If it's like Indigo Prophecy, I can see myself getting it.
I was very impressed with their latest game, Fahrenheit. (aka Indigo Prophecy) An original game, best described as a interactive movie. With great atmosphere and story thanks to the insanely high level of detail put in this game.
Along with a X-files/Matrix inspired story and very cool action sequences one of the best games on Playstation 2.
I can see why that would be appealing to some, but I guess I like gameplay more than story, although both are very important. The innovations in storytelling are intriguing though. I just don't want to play an interactive movie with QTEs
