I know i am! yes, i have mgs4, and it was good and all but wasnt perfect. gta4, bought it, hated it.

now some people may feel that there will be no perfect game ever made, but i beg to differ. if you look back at the ps2, gta 3 was the closest to perfect for that generation. so, are you waiting like me for that 1 game to be perfect in every-way?

btw killzone 2 may have a chance. also R2,and LittleBigPlanet......:D

I think MGS4 is one of the greatest games I've ever played. That was my "perfect game" for this generation, just as Half Life 2 was for the last gen. I truly don't expect anything else to blow me away this generation the way MGS4 did, so I guess I'm just waiting it out with all the other quality titles coming out this year until the Next Generation.

Neither killzone and R2 will even be CLOSE to perfection. LBP if pulled off right, might just be the perfect game in many ways.

Theres some irony in what you said there.... a "perfect" game is one that is perfect in all ways not "many", And i think that KZ2 is really gonna be good pefect i'm not so sure... but for this year Far Cry 2 looks to betheperfect game.

I think there is no perfect game.It only perfect when you like it or when you play that game,you feel like you are controlling yourseft.But great game is many,i like Gear of war,God of war,Final Fantasy,Tekken,.... ^^

Let's step over the word he used, and react on what he wants to know. I think there are a few that have a chance like: fallout 3, LBP, KZ2, PoP, Gears of war 2 + Fable 2.

Seeing a game as perfect changes from person to person.My perfect game last gene was Timesplitters Future Perfect and this gen i think it ll be Timesplitters 4!

No there will never be a perfect game, someone is always going to have a differing opinion, however there will always be a perfect game for you or a perfect game for me, you may hate my perfect game but it's still perfect too me.

There will no perfect game.

But I think Oblivion is close to perfect or rather "complete" because you could do anything you like in that game. It's a mixture of RPG, action-adventure, stealth, and a little but of platformer. :)

for the ps3 the next generation for this year is MGS4 Resistance 2(Graphics Dont Care Kid)LBP
for the 360 its Gas Of War 2 only i think
and for every platform the NEXT Generation Game Is MIRROR'S EDGE
and all of these games are in my list except gas of war 2

Perfect Game? Something like that does not exist. A game may be awesome but it cannot be perfect. Correction, it may be perfect for one guy but not for another. I know games that were perfect for me:

-Warcraft III

-Okami

-Half Life II

-GTA IV (I don't know why so many people are disappointed with it)

-Disciples series

-Baldur's Gate series

-Gothic series

10 years ago, the perfect game came out. It was Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I still play it all the time, in 1920 x 1080 resolution. Never ever gets old. :P

Exactly ..

Plus everyones opinions won't allow for a perfect game .. IMO Resistance 2 will be close though .. closer than Killzone 2 anyways ..
