Yeah, me and my friend have wanted a sequel ever since we played the first one. That game kicked so much ass. Would've been a blast online, too.

Oh my. Freedom fighters was DEFINETELY the best game I EVER rented for my ps2. I enjoyed it tons with my friend. Online multiplayer would make it killer... the whole game was just so.. fun.. and random...

In the words of the comic book guy from the Simpsons: "Best rating ever" lol. I own the game and loved it ever since it came out. Even after all this time I find myself putting it on every once in the blue moon. I remember after beating it I checked out the internet and found out about an announcement made at an E3 where Freedom Fighters 2 was announced, but the release date was for about last year or the year before, guess it never happened. Hopefully the sequel really does kick off on the PS3, it'd be extremely awsome if now, instead of mission selecting to get around New York or wherever the setting is, it would instead be the whole city that you can tour on your own. Oh yeah, that would be awsome.... I'm hungry.
Hitman, Freedom Fighters and Kane & Lynch are all made by the same guys (and you say Danish people ain't worth anything, yet we gave you Freedom Fighters! geesh).. But yeah, i actually still have Freedom Fighters for the PC, and i still play that game alot. i really loved it, and still do. looking forward to Kane & Lynch too.
That game was awesome and...... they were supposed to have a sequel. You can even search and find FF2(working title) on the website. but nothing ever developed! :(
Yeah I played this game on the Gamecube, and it was a lot of fun. I think the game flopped though, so I doubt we'll ever see another title again under that name.
But if you havn't played it, you should at least try it. Great gameplay, probably flopped from lack of advertising.
