why all the haze hate

seriously i beat haze again today and i still love it. can anyone give me reasons why they dislike it?

Worst acting ever .. concept done totally wrong .. the driving was horrid .. guns sucked, the ammo looking like little flashes of light .. worst acting ever .. the AI was brutal .. they would run out and stand together in a block of eight, as you would just pick them off while injecting nectar .. oh and did I mention .. worst acting ever ..

With as little money as I have to spend on games, I need to be very selective. I only get the games that are in the top-tier because, quite frankly, I don't have the time or money to spend playing subpar games.

A huge number of must-play games have come out in the last few months, including LittleBigPlanet, Fallout 3, Dead Space, Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, CoD: WaW, Valkyria Chronicles, Rock Band 2, Left 4 Dead, FarCry 2 and Prince of Persia.

As saturated as the shooter market is right now, there's really no reason for me to play Haze when I have so many better options.

I played it .. I also wanted HAZE to be amazing .. it sounded cool .. cool guns .. just everything looked different, and I was hoping they would deliver .. biggest disappointment in video game history .. for me ..

because its absolutely lifeless and terribly executed.....i had hopes that it would be a half decent game....and those hopes were vicously trampled on by the massive disappointment known as HazexXMcClaneXx

the acting isnt the worst ive ever seen and the guns arent half bad. theres also a lot of little details tht arent seen in other fps's

Basically.  The game was horrible in almost every way

this is a prime example of what haze can do to you....its ok denial is the first step....before you know it haze will be a distant memory (periodically haunting your dreams time to time)

The HazeHate (TM) stems mostly from the huge amount of hype...  The fall is much harder when you're dropping from 5 stories instead of 2.  Sure, there's some disappointing gameplay and perhaps the worst voice acting, direction, and script writing in the history of... well, everything.  But overall the game isn't really THAT bad.  There's some decent co-op.  It's got a good number of hours packed in.  The multiplayer isn't awful, either.  It just wasn't as good as everyone was hyping it to be.

I personally got it for $10 from Best Buy a few months ago when they had a RewardZone promotion overlap with the $30 price drop and I'm definitely glad I picked it up.  Like I said, the co-op is kind of fun, and for $10 (or even $30) you get quite a bit of gameplay.  It's definitely no R2, but I also don't think it's as awful as people make it out to be.  6.8-ish in my book, which is really not all that bad.
