are you using wireless?The_Rick_14
I have a 20gb so I'm sharing the wireless connection from my laptop through the ethernet cable... Everything seems to be set up correctly though - otherwise, why would the firmware download and browser work? Doesn't make sense.Â

Like I said, it did allow me to register an account. It just won't let me use it now.
So now the Connection Test succeeds all the way through, but I STILL can't connect to the store. WTF?!
I want to smash this thing to bits right now...Â

yea its doing the same thing to me i can logg in and see all my friends and everything but i cant play online or get in the store its weird cus i have a good connection and never had this problem before hmmmm..
You may have to reset your router , that is if you're using one. I got a new modem a couple of weeks ago from my cable provider and when I hooked everything up (my pc, a 360, and a PS3) I couldn't connect with the PS3. My pc and 360 went on fine, but it took me a 1/2 hour to figure I had to reset my router/switch (or whatever you're using).
I only tried that because I remember when SOCOM 1 came out all my friends were having trouble hooking there PS2s up online. Once we figured to power up the modem first, then the routers, things started working fine. Good Luck.

Well I reset the router and now Connection Test gives me a Type 2 NAT rating (it used to be Type 3) - but I STILL can't get into the network. This is insane. Good old 80710B23 error will haunt me forever.Â
