When I step into a games shop to look at the psp games, nothing takes my fancy. The only ones I got/getting are Tiger woods pga tour07, Murcery Meltdown and yugioh gx tag force. There is a suprising lack of games that I would like. I like the adventure games like Final Fantasy XII (ps2) or stuff like that. I can't get any games rated 15 or above (gta) so that cuts down my choice by like 50%.

Any suggestions?

The lack of games I can play make it feel like the PSP is a waste of time...The only game I play is Yugioh gx Tag Force and my dad plays Tiger woods PGA Tour...

Anyone here to help?

Try Hotshots Golf: Fore, Neopets The Wand of Wishing, and Daxter. If none of those sound good get a DS, it is geared to more children(no offense). Therefore they would have more -15 games for you to choose from.

So the psp is a bit of a waste of money for me then? (ratchet and clank is good but lack of camera makes it worse)

I have a feeling the author is too young to be on this board. In the TOS you should be at least 14. I think you're younger. Anyway, 90% of all games are violent or sporty, that's where the market is. Unless it's a ninty system, they don't have many games for younger kids, they just don't sell very well.

The PSP is marketed towards a certain type of gamer and that gamer is of the more mature variety. I'm not saying the DS is marketed towards kids because it's not, it's marketed for all ages.

The PSP has a few RPGs you might be interested in such as Tales of Eternia, Popolocrois, Blade Dancer, Key of Heaven, YS etc etc. I might also want to try the Burnout series, the Ridge Racer series, MACH, Ace Combat.

You have LocoRoco, Rachet and Clank Size Matters, Daxter, Lumines, PQ2, Crush, and Tokobot. Now, you telling me that it's all violence and sporty? I have feeling your a DS fanboy trolling our PSP forums.

I forgot to mention the Capcom Classic Collections Series.

Try Burnout, if you like crashing cars and intense speed this game is for you :)

Legends is better IMHO, but Dominator is better for people who just want to do races and not fiddle around with the crash mode in Legends.

the reason is most people who play psp are over 18. when i asked how old psp users are the average age was 23. So im guessing ur way younger then that. and to meet the needs of the average gamers sony make violent games. i think u might be a bit to young to have a psp which is a shame. try the ds mate.

trust me, I just picked up a PSP and I have owned a DS since launch. DS and PSP are two completely different systems. Yes, DS has more fun colourful games while PSP is more killing, shooting, and sports. If you don't/can't get the shooting games then go play Super Mario Bros or Mario Kart they are amazing fun.
