Seriously!? Are we suppose to just quit our job in order to play all that? Dark Souls alone properly will entertain me until next year but then I wanna play Online shooter like BF3 because it take forever to level up and unlock gears. I also want to experience MW3's single player and online, What about skyrim!??! Wait but I've been waiting for Ace Combat for 5 years!!! How can I play those when Uncharted 3 is available and the multiplayer is ****ing awesome too! @#*$@)&*^#$)*&@^$*(@ WTF am I suppose to do!?!??!

Am I the only person who think this is very good time for gamers but it's also frustrating to be a gamer?

Man, I hate this too. I wanna get them all but it seems I'll have to save up to purchase all those gems.. what's wrong with October and Novermber? This is really crazy all games at the same time.

i agree amazing games coming out in October and November, and for multiple platforms, im gonna be broke by the end of the year.

It's all because of publishers trying to get Christmas sales. Anyway, it's a great time to be a gamer. :D

On the plus side, with all these games coming out so soon to each other, if they don't sell quickly, they're likely to get a price reduction and I'm sure that works for most people.

The only games i'm getting is Rage and Halo Anniversary.

I wish every month had this many good game releases. I don't have a boss so I could play till my hearts content but I'd rather get one game (Uncharted 3) and play that for a few months and then when I want to get another game it should be close to half price. I don't understand the point of buying like buying 5 different games at once.

I was wondering why a lot of bigger games come out around October-November as well. Is it because they sell better around the holidays? Or does it have to do with business strategies and fiscal years and stuff like that?

It's exciting but daunting at the same time. So many games to choose from.

I'm just getting Batman, Uncharted 3 and MW3, everything else I'm not interested or already own.

i thinks its a great idea... buy a few and play them until you are completely exhausted of the game.. usually by then the others have dropping significantly in price and you get more great games for less $$$.

Luckily I was prepared for this. I saved up a good 700 dollars on the side. I'm going on a shopping spree this Friday. Already got Arkham City and Skyrim reserved and paid in full.

Yeah far too many good games coming out this Holiday season, even if I had a job no way I would of been able to afford them all at the same time, plus there are books and movies I'd like to get this season too hard to buy everything all at the same time. Might be harder since I am kind of deciding to save up for a laptop which I should hopefully get around Black Friday, hopefully. and there are far too many goods games I that have come out already that I haven't bought yet either same for the previous years.

But here's the thing. One third of those games are going to be overhyped crap. Another third will be decent games that will run/look like crap on the ps3.

So in the end, if we're lucky, we'll see one or two games worth buying.

Personally, I feel like we can rule out anything by Bethesda: their games may be good but their ps3 ports are insultingly bad. We've already seen that Rage isn't worth getting for the ps3 and Skyrim will probably be a buggy mess like every other game Bethesda releases - wait a couple of months for the word to get around and you'l be able to buy it for $20..

After narrowing it down, I can only see 2 games that I will definitely get for the ps3 this season: MW3 - because my wife will want to play with her friends; and Saints Row 3 - because the pc port is likely to be more of a mess on the pc.

Happens every year. I anticipated it this year though, put away my PS3 for the last 5 months, broke it out when Rage dropped, which I finished in 5 days. Now only have dark souls, skyrim, bf3, batman and cod to play then boom, away goes the PS3 by the beginning of next year. robmonga2

It may happen every year, but not like this year! Sure every year there is a new COD oran updated sports game. It's not every year we get a new Halo, Gears of War, Uncharted, Battlefield,and even a newDemon's Souls (pretty much)
