Why Are Canadians Getting Riped Off??

The price of a PS3 is $500 in the us and in canada its $550. Our dollar is at around 95.5. The price of the PS3 in Canada should be around 525!!! Why are we getting ripped?

if u went to ANY EB games or sony store u could have picked up the ps3 for 659

i know! i got an email from EB advertising $499 PS3 with 5 free blu-rays, but US only. it would still be good at $550 w/ 5, but they dont even offer the 5 free blu-rays in Canada. it just doenst make sense. digxxbitty

My god, vcurrency values fluctuate. The dollar may very well go down. SCEA isnt gunna change the pric of the ps3 to reflect the current value fo the dollar every single time it changes. Thewy are still going with the launch pricing where are dollar was around 90 cents to a dollar

That was only cuz Bestbuy and Futureshop charged extra, they sold them for 700, while stores like wal-mart and EBGames sold them for the Official MSRP of 660.

You think you guys in canada are getting ripped off, here is australia we pay $A 999 for a PS3, which is about $US 850 (i think)...hrt_rulz01

Look at the 360, it's the biggest rip.

US $400 CDN $499. Lucky I bought mine for CDN $389.99 last xmas.
