Where is the love for the new Indiana Jones game?? Every review I have read is solid, I have not played it yet, but I have played Star Wars; Force Unleashed. Has anyone touched this new Indiana Jones game yet? What the word on it?

I've played the Indi game at a Gamestop and it isn't that good. It's ok in my opinion, but really? The controlling of the character was awkward.

Since this game is getting great reviews but not too many people are discussing it, I guess this will forever remain a hidden gem :/

Gamespot's review was pretty positive, however they did mention the clunky control at times and a somewhat problematic camera, again at points... I don't think I recall reading that these were deal-breakers to the over-all game though. Mostly I recall the review saying it was a fairly solid action-adventure game that fits somewhat into the character's pantheon. If I was going to play an Indiana Jones title though, it would probably be the Lego game, because I would prefer some humor given that George Lucas already made Iny a laughing stock with that last movie...

You're right... I stand corrected. But I actually did read those things about the game somewheres. As to the poster's veracity or being insulting, I didn't really take it that way. I've been pretty passionate about a few titles I think people were ignoring for the wrong reasons in the past so everyone gets a degree of slack in those instances. I mean, perhaps we really WERE missing out on something pretty decent, you never know when it comes to gaming - I mean, someone had to put that first quarter into a "PacMan" arcade game, take that chance... I'm going to guess (in my own case) not because the subject matter really doesn't resonate with me, but if the poster likes the game then cool. I think we all have a title or two in our collections which would make someone else groan and roll their eyes - "Oh GAWD, yo bought THAT?"

:D

I know I certainly do...
