Why arent you playing Resistance 2?

So today i started playing R2 again, and woah the game is as good as cod4 or killzone 2 ( mp wise) but why isnt people playing it? the mp is epic with 60 ppl online, big maps, fun guns. I cant understand why people arent playing this game, but keep playing cod4, cod5? whats wrong with u ppL? whene sony gets us good games you guys dont even buy them.

Look at killzone2´s sales, that game is one of the top games this year, and yet it will probably be outsold by the transformers 2 videogame :roll:

I loved the 1st Resistance online, but I havent played the 2nd one. I thought about getting it just for online, but I did hear the community is pretty small so I skipped that game =/

I prefer real guns and shooting real enemies...

Not too into the sci fi guns and bland graphics.....

If you want to make people play Resistance 2, then write a proper review about it

U should've got it when it first came out, I was all in that game loving it, I finally got the platinum and had to move on:(, god do I miss it, but I got other trophys to get.

Don't know why I did, just hated the MP.

I got cod4,kz2, and the first resistance. I felt like i wasted $60 on kz2. The story mode is good but i cant get into the multiplayer so yea. Besides im playing cod4 for multiplayer anyway so id rather not waste $60 on this game for teh campaign only. Will definitely buy when its down to $30.

Didnt like the game much to be perfectly honest. The funny thing is, I was a sucker for the collectors edition. I didnt play Res1 at ALL... And I bought this for the collectors. Online was weird. I can honestly say Ive grown up on CoD, been playing since day 1 on PC... So that could be a contributing factor...

My thoughts exactly.

I was a huge fan of Fall of Man. As someone who rarely, if ever, plays online, even I enjoyed playing Fall of Man online. Resistance 2, though, both online and offline, was a huge disappointment to me. I felt that R2 was a step back in nearly every way, changing/taking out a lot but not improving upon anything.

R2 was easily the game I was most disappointed by last year.

That's why I'm not playing it anymore, and haven't for a long time now.

I'm not playing it because it costs $60 and at those prices, it's going to take me a very long time to build up any sort of collection of games. Since there are several other games I'll be buying first, it'll be a long time before I get to Resistance 2.

I love R2 but have too many games and unfortunately not enough time to play them all.

Its just that, you have like 2 seconds at most for surviving time. Its really hectic and i never know what im doing.

I didn't like the online or the single player.

R2 online was boring. The coop was fun for awhile. The Competitive mode was nothing compared to Cod4 and KZ2. It just seemed like they tried to copy Halo too much.

I loved R1 online and game, but I didn't really like R2 actually I just sold it for 10 bucks because I don't like the online really.

R2 is the best in my opinion. I had a blast with the co-op mode. Unfortunately it is becoming harder and harder to find partners.

This game was just way too boring for me to play. I loved the first game but this game didn't build upon what made the first game a success and was a total let down for me and many others.

I preferred R2 for the single player campaign. I felt it had better graphics and better boss battles but it was a little short. Never played online with RFOM so can't comment on that. I don't play much online but I enjoyed playing co-op with my g/f splitscreen(online). Actually my only complaintwith R2 that Iprefererred with RFOM was the abilityto play the main campaign splitscreen offline.I might jump on there again soon but will only be on there for awhile until U2 MP/Co-op is available. I lovedthe beta of that game.

I still play R2 online, but not as much as COD4 because I'm a fan of smaller more tactical games where as R2 just feels really chaotic sometimes with people all around you and grenades flying everywhere.

I never got the game cause I don't want to pay $60 for it and to me, the multiplayer looks very boring and not something I can get into.

i dont play R2 well i must say resistance 1 was probly the best game for a launch ive seen but the health system is what made it rly hard, and its multiplayer wasnt to good, so i never picked up R2 just cause i thought the first was to hard, buy the real real real reason i dont play it is because i dont own it :(

I loved the first Resistance more. But I found Resistance 2 kind of disapointing on story, I don't play online on Resistance 2 that much mainly because ofKillzone 2.

Not enough people with mics and it feels really stale, like you're playing agianst really hard AI with no sense of community and I find that killing people doesn't have the satisfaction of Killzone 2 or Call of Duty.

Is it re ally tha good, cause honestly I hated the first one thats why I've been hesitant. How is the campaign? Not a big onlinegamer so it has to have a strong campaign and nicer weapons than Resistance 1 had. Plus part 1 had very dull graphics. Is this the same in part two. If so I wont even bother with it. I will play online if its fun though. Like killzone 2, Vegas 2, COD, 4 and 5. If online is as fun or better than those thats a plus but the campaign has to be very good for me otherwise I won't like it.

I thought the competitive was garbage and I got bored of co-op

I don't have it anymore (gamefly) but I do miss it sometimes. The MP was really quite fun, I really got into a groove for a couple months playing it. Fantastic game that I need to get into my collection.
