I can download demos while playing almost all of my other games offline so why not this? Im downlaod demos such as god of war 3, uncharted, and heavy rain so i could try them as i am bored with all my other ps3 games except street fighter 4 but i cant downlaod while im playing that so you kinda get where im getting at...

You can't play MP and Download at the same time.

wat hoax said, if u playin only single player mode then make sure u disable the online feature where ppl can just jump in and battle when u playin SP mode.

i have this happen with most of my games as well. it seems i can only play SvR and download at the same time.

Some games wont let you download even if you play singleplayer. If there is any online activity (updating leaderboards, recent news and such) then it counts as multiplayer and so it wont let you download.

Guys i am playing single player as i said...

This makes sense i guess. I would acctually feel like playing something else if i didnt lost all my save data when the fat died of ylod. Meh was so close to my second platinum, almost completing bioshock on the hardest difficulty and had almost all of the diaries. I have no interest in restarting that now -.- all my other single player games are boring!!! except sf4 and blazblue and ill assume blazblue would do the same (prefer sf4 anyway).

I thought the downloads shut down when you load a game - you mean when you tell it to download in background right? Hmmm I didnt know this.

The thing is, even if you download during gameplay, the speed of the DL is by far very slow compared if you download it directly on the XMB and do nothing.

So for me, with my internet speed, its more practical to just download on the XMB and wait rather than download and play while waiting.

Street Fighter 4 or Super Street Fighter 4? You can't do it at all with Street Fighter 4. You CAN do it with Super Street FIghter 4 as long as you don't go on the online portion of the game. It works the same way with Blazblue, you can download as long as you don't go online.
