Where i live their are no MGS4 bundles, I wanna trade in my 40GB ps3 for one. holy heck man! I called everywhere and can't find one. They need to make more, a lot. I know that they can run that risk of overstock but as of right now, it would help their sales a lot. :: me wantie!SiKh22

Yeah. if i did it i would be $90 short of completing my full game list. It would make more sense to buy a ps2 but damn the ps3 having bc would be too awesome. Isnt the $220 just to trade in the ps3? Dont they usually give extra credit if your putting it towards buying another system or something? MassiveKaos

its 200 right now, its 220 if you trade in consoles right now till the 10th of this month. I have to pay 283 out of pocket. So that would be i payed $719. payed 436 for the 40gb and 283 for the difference, I'm thinking its not worth it. I mostly want BC to play FFXII, the HD can be bought for 60 for a 120Gb HD and the Dualshock 3 from newegg is 48 bucks. Their is also a PS3 Final Fantasy bundle coming next year, I don't know if it has BC, pretty sure it wont since sony says thats it, cut costs. I'm leaning towards buying but I can't even find a store that has it in stock.

i bought MGS4, great game. I'm also stuck in the same spot, in the long run its worth but right now shelling out $200 something. A new deal will probably come after the 10th. I'll probably get the FF PS3 bundle, tell me how things work out for you.

Well the last option i got is to call up my sister who currently has my 360. Someone wanted to buy it(for almost $300) but i said i would take it back. Ill just find out if they would want the ps3. if not then i dunno. Buying a ps2 isnt saving that much more money tho.(well in my case)

Metal Gear Solid 4 - $60

Dualshock 3 - $50

Playstation 2 - $130

Memory Card - $25

Thats $265 and that would almost equal the amount your paying after trading it in so i might end up doing.

If all else fails then i still have My DS Lite. You could get $70 for it back in may so it cant be much less if any less now(it was $70 back in early 07 so maybe) and i also got about 5 games for it. Trade in 5 or more games and you get 30% extra credit.

Based on that fact itll only cost a little bit more than buying a ps2,a memory card,mgs4,and dualshock3 I might do it. Besides I have Resident Evil 4 for ps2 which i have never played(got from a friend and i was planning to eventually buy a ps2 anyway.

Ill update the thread when whatever i decide to do happens.

wat i did 2 get it is just call ur best buy circuit city like every 3 days or 2 lol
