Cause PS3 needs TLC for porting. They probably didn't have the money, hence a publisher didn't loan it to them because the game played like crap.

I think it has more to do with the financial troubles THQ is having and spending money on additional resources for a PS3 version wasn't feasable.

I played the 360 demo and to be honest I don't think PS3 owners are missing much.

because you need talented developers to program on the ps3 and THQ(i think thats whos making it) are some crap tastic devs.
dont worry i played the demo and will get a 7 at most

ill fill you in on how the game idustry works
there are many developers out there some are vary taleted and have a great team of programmers to put out quality games (ie insomniac, capcom, blizzard, ect)
while every game needs cheap entry level programmers(fresh out of college) to do the basic work in the middle of developing. Some companys try to make a quick buck(THQ) and fill there whole team with entry level programmers, pay them vary little money, and they hope there game sells enough copies to make them some moeny. Game programming is difficult and to learn how to develop on the ps3 is even harder and an entry level programmer would have no clue how to do it unless they took a specialized course on it somewhere.
so theres your answer there whole team has no idea wtf they are doing on the PS3

THQ is a garbage company anyway.

I've said it before and I'll say it again they need to be focusing on Red Faction 3.

We ps3 owners arent missing out on anything. The game seriously sucks. Would rather play one of those ps2 barbie doll games then that crap. Ok maybe not a barbie game but I hope you get the point.

He's right. The OFFICIAL reason they dropped the title is because THQ has been losing money on every game they've made for the PS3, not without reason, PS3 owners don't buy crappy games.

They are publishers, not developers. Stalker, Dawn of War, Company of heroes are all great Thq published games. Violition are the DEVS of the Red Faction games.

Smackdown Series mean anything??? Noob much???!!!

oh, nifty! so resistance 2 still holds the most players online i've ever known. except CoD4 for PC, i've played 64 people matches, granted the server lagged like hell.
