its a 360 with a tiny bit better resolution and blu ray... and ive seen blu ray and can't tell the difference between HD DVD and blu ray...

if u ask me i would buy a wii and 360

so i want to know why u guys bought it

I don't understand. What the hell do you care? For you the "Wii60" is the way to go so enjoy your systems but i don't understand why you need to understand why someone else chooses something else. I mean obviously they/we feel different but again, why do you give a hoot anyway?

Becaus by the time u get the hd dvd drive network adapter and a 12 month subscription to live the $600 PS3 is cheaper

What he said. Why would you care? Are we going to "convince" you to buy a PS3? are you even considering it? why would you care why I bought my PS3? I bought it because I don't wanna deal with 360 fanboy logic online.

Cause we would have to play online with you lemmings. If we got an Xbox 360, all we would play is stupid shooters, because Microsoft does not know what to do with their console. Seriously, the only great exclusive you guys have is Gears of War, and that's it. Oh, and don't forget that the DVD is practically obsolete. Don't believe me? Then why did Blue Dragon ship on 3 DVD's? What is Microsoft doing that's actually causing consoles to sale? There actually selling worse than the PS3 right now. Man, lemmings are desperate to make the PS3 fail. Otherwise, the 360 is doomed.

I happen to own a 360, Wii, and a decent PC so I'm set for the next couple of years. When the price of the PS3 goes down and there are at least a handful of really awesome games for it I'll purchase one.

don't get me wrong... i like the ps3 and i have played it but its REALLY exspensive and almost the same as a 360... soooo i was wondering if there was anything else that i didn't know about that made u buy the PS3

I bought the PS3 because of the different genre games it has. Just look at the launch already it has different genre games. Ridge Racer, Genji, and Resistance. Again, it's about the games. I just finished playing all 3 and I really enjoyed it. I also have a 360 and all I get from it is shooters and sport games, which I don't really care about.

I also forgot to mention that its FREE Online Play. I can jump into Resistance Lagless Multiplayer anytime without worry about paying an extra $50 a year. I refuse to pay $50 a year on my X-Box 360. Why should we pay Microsoft to play online when it was always been free?

Blu-Ray is great and it's included with the PS3. It not just for watching movies, unlike the HD-DVD add-on on the X-Box 360, it's also for GAMEs... :)

I bought the PS3 because of the variety of games. I didn't want a system that just offered shooters and sport title. I got it for the games, mainly for Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid. PS3 already has a great lineup coming up, most of the launch titles suck, but launch titles are usually never good.

It's not the same...it's totally different hardware, software, design, etc. That's like saying a Ferrari (PS3) is the same as a ford (x360). But do the job, but one does it better. Plus, the games on PS3 are going to be more interesting and fun. I can only name 2 titles on the 360 that can probably amount to that (GeOW and Halo 3).

I am not even starting with you. (Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Cry On)-All created by people who worked on Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger. Then there is Eternal Sonata. I own all consoles because I can afford them, and I don't have to resort to being a fanboy because my pockets are light. It's good to be rich. :)

well for one its a better machine.. its capable of more .. and second bluray has capabilities that surpass hddvd wether it be size quality and use...as far as i know the hddvd is only ment for movies..not games so the dvd9 will eventually meet it max in content..as for the bluray.. its universal and is the main median for ps3 games

I own both 360 and PS3 and YES, I can buy a Wii too, but I ain't waisting money on another GameCube. What makes you think I'm a fanboy? Blue Dragon doesn't excite me. Lost Odyssey has nerdy looking character, like some programmers face was slapped on it, and Cry On I never heard of. Games that are created by people who worked on Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger doesn't automatically make a game good. Don't hate if I disagree with you and yes I have a good paying job and bragging that you are rich and spoiled is sad...

I bought mine because I basically wanted a souped up ps2. Thats all it is. Just like the 360 is a souped xbox. The only console that isn't an updated version of its predeccesor is the wii.

Also blu-ray is about $10 cheaper than HD-DVD. I live in canada and on average a blu-ray movie costs $40 while an HD-DVD movie costs $50. Blu-ray games cost about $70.

i wouldent go that far and say the 360 is doomed...because its not..its actaully doing better then the ps3 right now...but ps3 will be worth it in the long run
