Sony should have, or should be going alll guns blazing to try andbring Crysis to the console on PS3. This game looks like a certain AAA and could possibly be one of the greatest of all time. I just look at my PS3, and then at my crappy PC and cry at the thought of not playing this game. I know its not Sony's fault I cant scrape together the money for a high end PC, being only 16 but it still would be amazing to be able to play it on the PS3.
It probably wont sell really great, even on PC. Really, not huge amount have a PC that will play Crysis, the system requirements are very steep and not alot of people have gaming PCs

Would it really not work on a console? thats quite disappointing considering how much Sony big up the PS3 and how its supposed to be on a par with anything out there at the moment. I just got really hyped up after reading the games radar hands on where they said it was amazing.

Crysis isnt designed for anything out there at the moment, its also designed for a PC....

You asked why Sony doesnt go all out. Why would they go all out for a game that probably wont sell well?
Crysis could be done for the PS3 in a technical sense. It may look exactly like the PC version, but it could be done.
The requirements aren't that steep to play Crysis and the people that want to play it (and there are a lot of them) have adequate PCs.
Crysis is know for its graphics, but the gameplay will prove to be just as revolutionary. I can't see it being another run of the mill shooters with crazy graphics.

Because this would bring it to a much wider audience than just the people who have high end PC's resulting in a lot more people being able to play it therfore higher sales.
I'm really hoping that it might come to PS3, I think it would sell really well. But i'm not getting my hopes to high, I doubt it will ever be released on anything other then PC from the sounds of it.

Not true at all. My laptop can run it and i know a lot of people who have pcs that can run it.

this is completely not true. Every time a game with graphics like this comes out, every one uses that game to run graphic cards and comps to show what the hardware can do. The game will be like Doom 3, everyone used it to show off the power of their hardware they tried to sell. It took almost a year for the hardware to catch up enough to play doom 3 at all its glory. Even with now a day comps people will be able tuo dumb down the graphics and they will still look great.
