Why do all of our long-awaited games come out during test week? A conspiracy!

Seriously though,

this has happened to me so many times. All the games i look forward to the most come out during the week of test hell. I mean, if the game came out one week later, it would be okay..but no..

Heavy Rain? Got a test that thursday

FF13? Got 2 tests that week.

etc.

Does this happen to anyone else but me?

I'll have lots of free time with GOW3 and FFXIII, OH YEAH!

I have tests every week, so games will come out on a week I have a test, :cry:

I have a writing exam the day Battlefield Bad Company 2 comes out... I ******* hate tests!

i havent notice that till now they might be watching me i gotta watch my self

Well these games are only coming out during test week if you're still in school. I'm not, so yeah!

I'm studying computer science and I have my tests all half year. Got through them a week ago and I won't have any tests until the big break in summer (tests will be around July/August, so no, they aren't while games releas eand I'm happy with it ^^

FF13 comes out exactly one day before I have to make a huge presentation. :cry:

I feel I need to get the game right when it comes out, but I don't want to jeopardize my presentation.

I don't have problems with games being released near test days because I hardly study as it is and usually pass. I hate it when games come out around the same time my teachers decide to ambush me with a bunch of homework (mainly essays). I bet my teachers have my computer hacked and they'll probably give me a 4 page research paper the day before BF:BC2 is released.

I'd like to think that teachers were smart enough to come up with a conspiracy like this, but my Civics teacher gave us a pop quiz today...after telling us yesterday "We're having a pop quiz tomorrow".

Games always come out on test week, but since I'm usually the one handing the test out I just cackle and can't wait to get home and start playing. MWAHAHAH!

Lmao its not a pop quiz if everybody knows about it, its just a quiz. If there was a conspiracy your teachers were definitely not apart of it.lol

that's why i don't really pay attention to when games come out.

cuz march is basically midterms for many college students. when GOW3, FF13, Resonance of Fate, BCBF 2, Yakuza 3, Heavy Rain and all good stuff

comes out on March. i'm still gonna be cool with it because the summer break. i'm gonna buy all those games and play endless amount of them

I've noticed this as well. Everytime I was inching towards major tests, followed by down time I always had one or two key games to keep me busy. Now that I'm in the final stretch of getting my degree at Uni plus working part-time I have no time/money to get all these great games on release day. Once this semester is over, I will probably go nuts and buy all these games I've been waiting for, though I will be taking 2 summer courses!:cry:
