Why do people hate the PSP? I think it's great. It can play music and videos. It can surf the web. It can play PS1 games. It has great graphics for a handheld. What's so bad about it?
Sony has been a name bashed quite bad here in 2008. You have to understand how the industry actually works and realize that there is alot of things that Sony can't control. The release of games is through studios and publishers, not Sony. Sony can't force companies to make games for its console. In this aspect the only thing Sony could possibly do is try to make the PSP look more appealing to game developers and studios, which they already have (i.e. the 3000, improved screen) although i personally feel that the 3000 isnt really all that great, it still an attempt on Sony's end to keep the PSP line going. You need to aim things more directly and stop blaming Sony for everything about the PSP that you don't like and realize it might not have been there fault at all to begin with.
I dont know why people hate the PSP, like most people have already said i think they dislike Sony not the PSP. Which is a shame as I think its a brilliant machine!
im afraid of the upgrades i just got my psp slim for xmas and now im afraid that sony might completely redo the psp and ill be suck with they old crappy psp. its what happend when i got my ds-sigh-
