I just went through 4 levels in 1 hr and 45 mins; that does not seem hard...
Then again, I did World at War on Veterans Mode...
Hmmm...
I just want some opinions.

I think most of complaining comes from the end of the game .. as you're moving up to Radec .. wait until you get there ..
the train was the easiest for me! I never died for that one.The last mission is the hardest and most frustrating. the section on the train with the tank is annoying too

i havent tried Killzone 2 on elite so i will have to when i get some spare time :P
and yeah i have done W@W on vet... man do you remember all the grenade spamming... everytime you moved about 5 grenades would fly towards you
u kiddin me the game on elite is a breeze, but the thing i had hard time with and took me 2 days or abit more actually and others complained was when ur about to fight radic, before him the waves of enemies he sends u, wave after wave after wave, and since the AI is pretty good in killzone they freakin smart, sometimes they pull some $h1t u dont even know how they did it lol, but yea the last level in the palace is where ur going to throw ur controller towards the tv lol. and lucky for me i beat it and i wont have to go through that again, unless i feel like playin the single player again. and all i need is 1 trophy which is weekly rank # 4 and i would get a plat in killzone 2.
Oh man, people are freaking out in this thread about the last level's difficulty?
I want to especially get this game just to play it on Elite now
For me it was pretty hard on Easy mode (I'm still a newbie at FPS), but I won't even try Elite....I'd die too much lol.
Yeah and that is another factor. Some people might have as much 'Skill' as others in certain games. In other words, while you find the game easy, others are going to find it hard. For me it was pretty hard on Easy mode (I'm still a newbie at FPS), but I won't even try Elite....I'd die too much lol.

yeah, 1st time i bought Killzone 2 i chose to play campaign on elite mode, i thought it wasn't that hard until i had to fight some droid outside which took me forever, i gave up on the campaign after that cause i couldn't get passed it, so i went to online. months later i decided to go for it and here i am, 1 stage away from completing the game. I can't even imagine the last part that everyone is talking about. but once im done then i'll have to go through it again on easy mode to get all the other trophies i missed my 1st time. elite mode is brutal at times.

I have played a lot of FPS on the PS3, and I have to admit, on easy, the last level is still difficult.
Yeah the least amount of times I died on that level was like 7 I think lol.[QUOTE="M0wen10"][QUOTE="Warriorboy1990"]

Fighting Radec was fine, but the bit I kept dying at, was the bit on the upper balcony with about 4 enemies with Rocket Launchers, which literally kill you on impact. That really annoyed me.
Ugh, evil radec fight I think I stayed up tll 4 in the morning to beat it. I knew if I gave up I would probably never do it. I tried many tactics saving as much bullets as possible, remember enemy tactics and how they change depending on what I do. I figured I just needed to outsmart the AI, test which guns work better for which waves and figure out if I had time to throw some grenades at those Rocket guys. I remember someone saying to just run back and stay where the shotguns are and how easy it made hard mode and that it probably would make Elite mode easy too. EPIC FAIL, the enemies swarm you push closer and closer, theres no chance having your back to a wall.

So, where are you at now? Seriously, I ll amazed if you get by the last stage with few deaths. I gave up after dying one too many time but I will get back to it soon and hopefully, I will be able to beat it. :P
Yes like everyone is saying the enemies on the last level become overwhelming, I couldn't even beat it on veteran, so why bother with elite. :P
I tried elite and all i did was revive the guy next to me and die if the Hellghast fart at my general direction...
So i just went to hard and am setting on my personaly helghast terror program. I only use my knife & nades (ranged weapons only if its the only way)
Right now i finished destroying the Arc Tower thingy...
I'm Radec Academy just trying to stay alive...good god man the AI is brutal.
So you ask "why do people complain?" Is it me or do squadmates get in the habit of standing DIRECTLY in your line of fire, gawd!
Other than that I knew what I was in for when I started Elite mode and accepted the challenge but boy am I gonna celebrate when all is said and done :)
