Why does Valve hate Sony?

Valve developers cant develop games with Cell and thats why they all fail.

So what if they released Half life series.

That's because valve isn't really game developer.

they are more of game engine developer, and they are poor at it, and became even worst due to PS3 being pain to develop for.

Little known fact: The Valve office is actually in Bill Gates' garage. That's where Gabe Newell sucks on Bill's teet. 'Cuz everyone knows that if it has nipples you can milk it. :D

Seriously though. I think they're just lazy. And Valve is pretty much located in Microsoft's backyard. I'm sure there's some influence there.

They're just taking the easy way out. From what I've read over the past couple of years, the 360 isn't that far derived from programming for a PC.

People complained "it's too hard". All these titles are coming out now and just proving that all of the nay sayers are just full of s*** lacking talent to take on the PS3. I guess only the smart and talented, are doing PS3 games. Look at Kojima Productions. They aren't a first party Sony branch and they released Metal Gear Solid 4 making good use of the PS3. More people are catching on to the PS3 now. Sure there's a learning curve at first, but if you're good enough, you find a way to work with it and use it's power. Valve's only one company with what? Half Life 2 going for them? The PS3 isn't losing much. Besides, Half Life 2 makes me sick when I play it. Very poor quality and very poor frame rate if it'll make me physically ill and I can run Half Life 2 just fine on my PC.

although the people at valve are very creative i dont think they are the best programmers sure the source engine was great for its time but it took around 8 years to make and they never make a game that isnt delayed by at least 8 months or more

Actually i got Left 4 Dead 2 for PC and i thought it was like vanilla ice cream, yeah its good and you like it, but its plain and idk :P IMO people that didn't play it are not missing much :D its a bit overrated IMO.

I think it was because when the PS3 was about to come out they said it was a terrible system and if Sony was smart they'd give up on the PS3 and start over.

After being proven wrong many times, if not by anything else, games like U2, GOW3, MGS4 prove the PS3 is a more than capable gaming system.

So i think they are kinda like a spoiled brat that doesn't wanna admit it was wrong :P

Perhaps it's because Sony is so stubborn and has time consuming difficult hardware (which pretty much is the PS3). So, Difficult stubborn Sony + Difficult non-developer friendly hardware = We take our games elsewhere to other platforms and make lots of money the more smarter way. Just my thought on things.gamer082009

Its funny thought how many other lesser known and less financially set developers have made great games for the PS3.So are they that much better than Valve? OR should we just say...Valve is lazy and or paid off?
