Why don't they make a movie out of...

Metal Gear is already as close as you can get for a movie in a videogame.

And be careful with what you wish for... Name me 5 good live action movies.

I don't know if you heard it, but last Friday's, April 11th, 1up Yours podcast had a good discussion about movies based on games. It was towards the end of the podcast if you are interested.

Christian Bale would get my vote for snake

Metal Gear? It seem obvious right given the storylines. Hollywood is making Halo into a movie and in my opinion doesn't have depth in comparison to metal gear.drew2cool26

Easy easy easy, Eric Bana as Snake and johny noxville as the guy who has toilet problems (see MGS1 and MGS2)

I think the biggest thing preventing a metal gear movie is licensing issues.
