Well, a sequel to one of the most beloved games of all time is bound to be a failure, so I don't see it happening.

That, and they've been milking FF7 for far too long. Give me something new, Squareenix.

o , i thought its something like E3 , this sucks wish if they could make it live or osmehitng i really do wana watch it and see what will be new cuz i'v always been a fan of square enix :cry: .. thanks for replying man :)

Honestly playing through FF7 right now and I hope they dont remake it or do a sequel. Their is likley no way they will live up to the hype. FF7 remaking it they would have to change so much and think how stupid some of the stuff would sound and how dumb Barrett would sound "I got an mergency meeting with the Shinra" lol come on the guy who does Barretts voice would sound like a tool.

Alot of the dialouge would have to be redone if it was remade. And then if there was a sequel oh god... I dont know I just dont think it would be as deep as FF7 was. FF7 you didnt know that Cloud was so messed up and you couldnt have guessed that Aeris/ith was going to die. And they would likley have to drastically change the world of FF7 and then they would likley have to add some new stupid plot. Which I dont think they should do also. Idk some part of me hopes for a ff7 remake but the other part of me just wants it to end. Advent Children pretty much sealed the deal and I dont see any more reason why to continue unless they wanna bring back Sephy for one last ride.

Have you every seen any of the other many re maid FF games? None of them change the story except to elaborate on the background a bit more, so why would you believe that ff7 remake would have to change the story to some stupid plot. Also Berrets voice would fit think about who he is a mean country black guy... Obviously they would use the voices from Advent Children and crisis core. I would love a ff remake but its not possible to do a complete remake with out sensoring a lot of the game or else it would get a M rating think about Sector 6... OMG all those... and all the cursing yea a lot of that would be toned down and hardcore FF7 fans wont be pleased. The question is who should this remake please? the hard core or the new comers?
