Why I'm going digital instead of retail

Im an adult, does anyone else feel like a kid swtiching games of a portable system? Thats why Id rather buy games off of PSN. Having 4,5 game cartridges makes you look like your in jr h.s.

having 7, 8 cartridges fumbling looking for what game to play as opposed to just dl'ing them and playing them from memory card is more cool, albeit much more expensiveillmatic8582

I like a collection games, so it doesn't really matter to me how it looks... I usually just carry around 1 or 2 games with me anyway, and the Vita cartridges should be easy enough to put in a case.

I both agree and disagree, i don't think it makes anyone look like child switching game cartrages. If you are worried about what the ''chicks'' think and trying to look cool in front of them then i'd suspect you probably should get out of gaming in general. As our society still tends to hold an older view of gamers, that it's only for children and grown men who play lots of games are losers and nerds. So if you're consered about looking more like an adult in our culture, then you might as well stop playing games in general.

On the other hand i do agree that i personally would rather have my games installed on the memory stick, hence why i plan to wait for the price of te 32GB memory stick to drop so i can pick one just and just throw most of my games on their. It's alot more conveniant then swaping cartrages constantly, but i will still probably buy PSVita games in cartrage form as well. As a lot of times i like to have something physical and not take up memory space.

You would end up spending more money because you will need lots of memory cards in the long run. Also you can never sell games you buy from the psn. Owning the games boxes and adding to my collection makes it worth while.

I picked up the 32gb card at best buy today. Ill be going digital for the games i know will last me a while. I will never get bored of lumines and wipeout. So i will go digital for these. However uncharted and rayman may only give me 1 playthrough so i will go retail for them so i can trade them in later possibly. Also i just posted a thread about a buy 2 get 1 free vita game deal at target this sunday so i will be buying a bunch of games that way. ankor77

The only way games can be a problem within a relationship is either too much time with games or too much money spent on games. Switching cartridges or CDs for games is not the issue when it comes to girls and their potential dislike for games. If you've had problem with girls about your gaming then trust me, switching to download only won't fix that.

As you get defensive and mad when people articulate an opposing view other then your own that actually makes sense. So since you are unable to congure up counter arguments you resort to ad hominem attacks on the person. You sounds very insecure and sound as though you're sole goal is to strive to look cool and like an adult when you play games. And the only people i know of who do that are young kids who don't want to be called a kid anymore so they try to find ways to make themselves look like they're an adult.

If somebody is going to look at you funny in public and think of you as childish, it won't be because you changed cartridges. It will because you are playing a video game and no matter what why you change your games, you are still playing a video game. At first I intended to buy digital, but then I heard about those games being limited to two systems.
